At least lower the cost of reset passive points if u want to nerf anything, [Removed by Support]

Previous patch brought back directx ctd for me. The one where the client graphic freezes, then after a short period the message box pops up with the directx failed to load whatever followed by ctd. Happened again last night after that update but had stopped happening. Think maybe the fix got reverted.

I would have to agree with the angry mob that if you make a change that will impact the core functionality of how a build works players should be compensated to respec out of it. Even if this means running a scan on all players using a certain gem then giving them the option to reset their passive tree

Also think that way but want to add some thought. If you have been clearing like crazy for the past days you should be able to afford any respecc by now. Just "more" Freeze buildup wont work, the complete build doesnt work anymore. As a Sorc i dont even have 1 button that does dmg, except meteor, or wall.
I got excactly 270k gold respecing costs me all of it. And i were just starting into maps with t4/t5 now i cant even clear t1...
I am looked in my now useless acendecy.

The only thing i can do is relvl a new char, or just stop playing.

I will choose the 2nd option and wait.

lol same... not everyone lives on the game.. i looked at comet even before the game came out xD planned for this kinda build but now they completely bricked it and the dude who replied to u thinks people hoard gold and don't spend it on trying to get better gear etc xD i got 12k gold... build is bricked... i'll either reroll and see if i like any build while lvling or quit til they either buff it back up a tiny bit (because right now all the cast on x gems are in the trash bin... unusable) or til they give a free respec... i think i'll try out a build up to like lvl 20 and then decide if i'll keep playing or quit til launch or something because it's annoying to spend all your time on one character and finally have it working and being excited to finally play it and then them just nerfing it to nothingness and not giving anything for it to atleast change it... cold skills are 0 dps and this was the only one that did dmg so respeccing a few points won't work, would have to respec the whole tree and don't have the gold for it and can't farm it aswell because build is bricked xD

GGG devs dont play for sure their game and take pepple opinions into consideration. You nuked literally good and fun build which had no need for nerfs. Do you remember that games are supposed to bring fun? No one need bad balance changes. We can be proud now, good job and community is very happy with it.

Hahaha what we got here is a situation!! Looks like this was a paid EA to actually just Alpha the player base on how many concurrent players they can lose.

get rekt you sheeps. You wanna tell me you did not see the nerfs coming? Who do you wanna fool? Yourselves? It was obvious from the get-go, that casting 700 meteors/second with some 5dmg hit sparks was not the intended interaction...How the hell GGG missed this obvious stuff is another question though....

Anyhow: Even though i like the way every1 got nuked, after probably spending all their gold to respec to some broken build or rerolled to a different char mid-campaign, cause they saw some streams: If the state of the balance is not in a great place (massive build-breaking nerfs) - you should just give it 2-3 Weeks of a "grace-period" and either:

- massively decrease the gold costs for respeccing
- remove gold respec costs completely
- each time you make such balance changes: dont be stingy, and just give people (simply every1) the free-full-respec.

It's not gonna break the game. You can revert it after few weeks to the original costs. It's still beta/alpha - you want people to test your balance, no? So let them all gravitate towards the broken things, so you can get a look at them and fix it. Who cares if more ppl are gonna use it for a while if its free - its better for every1 involved.

To every1 else: just ask yourself a question if whatever you're playing is ethical or not. If not - have a backup plan and stop wasting all your gold on gamba. I never had a single issue with gold to respec and i probably did respec like 60+ points already in T10 maps...

And Lastly: over all great job GGG. Keep up the good work and dont bend to the mob of few whiny babies. I believe you'll make the right choices. Remember: the majority of happy players are not vocal on the forums/reddits and just enjoy the game. Don't get the wrong impression that EVERYONE is unhappy. It's really just a tiny minority of meta-sheeps.

Im a father with little spare time. This is a fuck you nerf right before christmas. Thank you so much for ruining a build that isnt that op to begin with.
