POE2 - Mouse clicks not registering

Similar issue here, but do not believe it is to do with resolution etc. I found that if I hold down Control and then left click an item in my Stash, then it will go to my inventory. I can Control left click it in my inventory and it will go back to the stash tab. But it will not pick it up if I just left click on it. So, the game correctly identifies where my mouse is, but won't complete the action ...

A full power down of my laptop resolved it this time. But it does seem that a lot of my mouse clicks in game don't register consistently.

The issue came back shortly after. I logged out and back in and it worked again for a minute and then stopped.

Game is not playable when unable to recognise left click. Sometimes it stops recognizing the left click after I have selected an item, such as a ring in my inventory, and I am stuck with it on my cursor.

Yep same here. Clicking doesnt register about 60% of the time. I have to spam click for it to eventually go through. Checked on different mice too with the same problem. I do get the same problem outside of town during battles but much rarer.

CTRL clicking is definitely instant with no problems so far.

Doesnt seem to be a polling rate issue but someone else needs to test this.

Im on Steam on Windows 10.

It looks like it may have been Windows11 monthly update patch that was just installed. I uninstalled mine, but it didn't fix it .. most likely didn't undo the .Net patching. Thanks MS. Someone in chat said they had success in uninstalling the latest updates to restore functionality.

I HAVE FOUND A FIX

try and navigate to options and change the game to windowed full screen it seems to line things up again

Changing between WSAD input and Mouse and Keys worked for me

"option"--"input"--Input Method(WASD)--check "the input for an action" for "mouse left-click" setting (or just reset to defaults).

That solved my problem. Hopefully it helps.

Just happened to me too.
Left mouse was working in the inventory, but not on anything else!

Nothing of the proposed solutions worked out for me :(

This is starting to happen to me more often as well after the 0.1.1 patch.

Many left mouse clicks are not registering, especially today where I have to click things 3 or 4 times to get it to register.

Wtf.all good since day1 and today suddenly the left mouse button is dead
