[PoE2] Map reset after death should go !!

It's my first time playing an ARPG and mostly I really do enjoy it. But the map resetting is really getting to my head lately. Not only on death. But also when I have to rediscover maps all the time even though I discovered it an hour ago. I know that it's part of the game but at least give me the map outline on TAB if I cleared the map previously. Somehow it makes the game feel "fake" because in the real world you would remember when you already passed somewhere. I don't know if that makes sense but anyways.
Endgame is thoroughly unenjoyable.
Maps too big. Pace too slow. Too few bosses.
Jewelers orbs of all kinds way too few, gatekeeping skills until well into the level 90 and beyond.
One death system is way too punishing.
The "infinite" endgame map is a gimmick, and not a fun one.

For me, the future seems to be to wait for the next POE1 league, and hope I can return to POE2 in 6 or 12 months honestly.

It's so far from a good AARPG system wise, I don't really enjoy it once I'm past the campaign acts 1-3.

totally disagree, too many easy tries in ENDGAME is shit, u need to play and not to die.
On another side important problem that game is very troublesome with oneshots even with defence, and often cause of unseen ground and following effects that one shot u and literally from maps poe2 become more like poe1- fullscreen of mobs and effects where i even cant see own char, not to mention that I don’t see the effects of mobs at all, game becomes again too fast like poe1 and i play slow poe2 char.

But idea of mapping with one life per map is better than 6 attempts for glasscanon builds. In this game u need be more focused and PLAY, touch buttons to evade, upgrading ur build on every step of difficulty progression. And by the way with death on map u loose only mods, u can always progress this place further and just by using another ur waystone.

Really problem that ggg specifically added backtracking to a large map with a slow character and endgame bosses one attempts, and i dont speak about ordinary map bosses, i speak about citadel bosses which i only on finding waste more then 2-3 hours. This is terrible and disgusting, devs really must add opportunity to repeat for some price, like gold or other currency to end this place, cause its so boring to waste to more then 10 mins on map to complete it cause of backtracking and need lot of this maps to just find citadel, and it can be ruined easily cause i play non meta build, and even with good def on 3 boss difficulty Doryani just oneshoted me with no attack mods with Sirus-like laser beam from off screen, when i had 75% chaos res, 10k ele ehp, 10k armour and 6k evasion with 2k hp.

But i repeat, i against of 6 portals that on regular map, even with mods from precursor tablet effects, other mods of ur waystone.. If u dead, u dead and u always can repeat this map place, please dont cry like noobs that it's terrible decision cause ur arguments are unfounded and more builded on fact that you don’t know how to play and don’t want to play without deaths, and want benefits of hard mods on map but u want that it was too easy to just have more attempts just against packs of mobs, really??

And please don’t complain that valuable waypoints are spent and there are no new ones, they will sustain enough if you don’t die and if you die often, you can always buy t1 from Doryani and upgrade it in the machine to higher tiers.

I died too many on t10-15 on progression and i sustain it anyway, just play

For all who wants 1 portal gaming, he is your way, let us sc Scrubs or 6 portals. Without them a big bunch of players even poe1 vets won't play poe2 and for ggg important won't buy supporter packs.
100% agree i want to get back in there and kill the mf'er that killed me not have them just vanish into thin air just making me even more angry that i cannot get my revenge on the PoS.
So, I entered the End Game, with a not really finished out well Ranger and died a lot on the first few days, I died so much, that I‘m now unable to move further on the map, because all the maps where I died are not working anymore in regard to letting me move to the next spot, because I died, is there a way to reset this? I play on PS5 Pro, so maybe there is a setting I‘m missing to access this map again and make it work again, so I can move on.

Right now I‘m playing only the maps challenge, because this is the only thing I can do, if you have enough way stones, but this is another topic.

I even started a new Character to get a fresh start, just to find out, all your characters will start on the same atlas tree, with the same progress.

I really don‘t care about the bonuses and stuff you lose, just let me progress to the next spot, if I finish the map I died on successfully, right now, thats not happening, which means for myself, I‘m stuck right now, too many deaths the first few days of the Endgame and now I can‘t move anywhere, because spots you died on will not grant access to the next spot, even if cleared on the 2nd try.
+1 - and there needs to be an option to transofrm maps in tower radius.
no1 will run mire, its just the worst map. lemme transform that, or delet that 1.
