[PoE2] Map reset after death should go !!
all of you just need to get good.
Resetting the maps and mobs is good cause it makes every map you do important. |

100000% agree thats just plane stupid,
it being the case with the campain i can get behind but if i spend currency to modify a map and i get killed thats all wasted currency without a second chanse |

+1 what's even more annoying is getting to end game waystones and instantly losing it if you die once... Go back to Poe 1 mapping style where you get to use all 5 portals....

It is happening everywhere, from Start-Up campaign, to End Game.
That must be a player toggle-able option under Options > Game. |

This map reset and enemies respawn needs to go !!
I one-shot everything in Act 3 Cruel mode and kill any bosses in under 30 seconds, Blackjaw and Mektul are done in less than 30 seconds for example, my waifu Viper in under 60 seconds, but sometimes there is a random enemy or event which stupidly one-shots me ... Then I respawn at the other end of the huge map, I need to run across that whole map again, kill all the enemies again as it is not even possible to bypass them as I become surrounded and locked by high-speed running enemies .. and killed .. again, and then even a potential miniboss is gone ... It is massively frustrating, annoying, time-wasting and leads to rage quits ... Would even be faster to portal out, and to re-enter this half-revealed map through a waypoint ... On a future update more checkpoints on a map does NOT fix this frustration, as I always need to clear whole maps before leaving it ... The enemy density is alright in where crowds can even be easily predicted, but killed enemies should stay killed ... !!! Now I just want to speedrun and finish, as this frustration kills all fun ... it is a vicious circle .. If I would "grind" for XP, Orbs, Waystones, or other stuff, I would load up other boss maps by running fresh instances with CTRL ... or simply to run the "Endgame" maps ... The campaign/act instances should stay cleared to that point or progress when died, and should refresh after 8~15 minutes or simply by running fresh instances . . . Respawning enemies is the MOST FRUSTRATING in PoE2 ... which leads to rage quit or uninstalls ... After death and respawn it simply feels as all progress was done for nothing ... Imagine to re-do the campaign with 6 different classes, or even with 12 characters ... This is too much, whenever the enemies respawn after death ... The maps become boring ... we all want to reach the Endgame as fast as possible . . . and not to stick around a same map again and again . . . It would be an other story in a MMORPG like Aion Classic, where mobs respawn after a specific time ... but this here is an ARPG ... where mobs do NOT respawn after a specific time ... The GGG Devs have announced to implement dozens of checkpoints in a next major update ... But please, cleared maps should stay cleared and revealed to that progress which was made before death ... there should be an other solution . . . These random one-shot killing events are just plain BS ... More checkpoints would not fix this, as mentioned, as I need to clear whole maps before leaving as this is my persona . . . respawning enemies is a no-go . . . and some huge maps are simply built to not being rushed . . . Act 1 ~ 3 Cruel has disabled and/or limited clearance/achievements anyways . . . Doing Acts and the campaign is one thing ... the Endgame is an other thing . . . And besides that all, NPC compagnons as Alva do neither do any damage at all nor do these lure, block or draw any attention to enemies . . . enemies are always focused on a player character instead . . . useless . . .
