Addressing your Early Access Post-launch Feedback

Right now on Act 2 Cruel

I think the most annoying thing for me is the movement and the fact that I can't get Blink until level 58. It feels like maps are really huge. I did first 3 act without complaining about speed I go through the maps, because at first it was all new. Now when I started Act 1 cruel - it is the same map and I move with the same speed, I kind of want to run through it now because it is nothing new and still I can't have access to Blink.

I think it was done with the intentions of players maybe not progressing too fast, and I also believe that this 3 Act on Cruel were added to fill game with content while you work on other Acts for full launch. No complains about it, just I wish that Blink was unlocked faster like at Act 1 Cruel so you can speedrun the same locations and quests you already did, especially because maps feel huge.

Rather than that the beginning of the game was much harder than the Cruel Acts after.

Other thing are the gems for skills, buffs and support gems. I don't know yet how to feel about it, from one side I like it a lot, I just need to get used to it a bit, from other side it is a bit strange that I can't equip 2 of the same support gems into 2 different skills because one is already in use in 1 skill. Then I also like this decision because in POE 1 I really had a lot of gems in my inventories that was unmanagable.

I would like to know what happens after Early Access, is the character going to be moved to standard league? Because it is hard not to get attached and invested in the character. But I read that the characters won't be moved to standard league and so I am a bit discouraged to play now and just want to wait now till full launch when I won't lose anything.

For context I'm lvl 88 and just finished the t15 quest.

Likes:
Bosses are cool

Mapping system is interesting though not fully cooked

Currency exchange is nice

Losing resists as you continue mapping is a good concept but you really need a warning it hurts a lot to go from res capped to not after investing heavily.

Rares drop a lot of loot, it's fun.

Dislikes:
Campaign dragged a lot in act 3

Ground effects in general, on death ground effects especially. I'm using grenades, I can barely see the ground at the best of times much less if it's a dark map or full of grass. The explosion times for something like the chaos on death effect need to be 5 or 6x longer. I would prefer if the effect was removed entirely or only given to one mob type that it was thematically relevant on.

Chaos damage in general, give us easy ways to get chaos res or remove most of the chaos damage. I cannot gear for chaos resists as well as everything else without deterministic crafting. Especially when most chaos res rolls give like 10.

I want to run a citadel, I have done a lot of maps, let me find a citadel.

Breach monsters swarm you like poe 1 which would be fine if my crossbow would reload on roll but as is if I get stunned at the wrong time I sit there trying to reload and just die.

Movement speed, please give me movement speed.

Let me fight more bosses, don't make them leave if I die to a random one shot on a map I juiced specifically to fight a good boss on.

Make it so you can pick your type of potions. After taking Chaos Inoculation the health potion is useless.

Also there is a massive difficulty spike when entering to drowned city from the past.. which seems a bit excessive

I would love to see the surround mechanic for certain groups of enemy types back.

Also rolling out of a bone cage from a boss seems very unrewarding; its a freakin' priosn the boss puts you in and you don't have to fight to get out? kinda lame, only bcs some gamers cry. get good, people
