Addressing your Early Access Post-launch Feedback

When I activate Chaos Inculation my Life becomes 1/5157 and my Energyshield 5.157/5.157 (my life without the skill is ~900) And I am not Imune to poison/chaos?, so I am instant dead when I got hit by poison or chaos.

I am playing POE2

Still true.

游戏优化啊,ally玩糊的一坨,根本就玩不了,pc帧率很难上去,优化有很大的问题啊,不是所有人都是顶级pc配置。

When are you going to address this issue here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3594126
This is the second time I've encountered a situation where, after killing an elite monster, his minions keep coming back to life. I kill them and they come back to life over and over again. It's a terrible bug.
They made the game too unbalanced, it is impossible to play with warrior after map lvl 14. You become very slow and fragile, the armor is not effective. They have to fix this!
Nice! Good job!
This is how I feel 100%. I played a ton of POE1 across many different leagues. I love this game FOR the potential and build variety and unfortunately this just feels like more of the same from POE. If you want to get anywhere near the end of the game, you better ignore 90% of the skill tree and google a build for your class. I personally hate that I can't just experiment and build a character that doesn't constantly hit artificial difficulty walls because I didn't spec into a very specific type of defense, or because the skills I choose to use are not very viable come a certain point of the game.

All-in-all this game feels very much like a game that you shouldn't even bother with if you don't have hundreds of hours to throw away. There are so many instances of random generated death and difficulty spikes for the sake of being "punishing". Then if you do make it to maps there's a random chance you don't even get to join maps at your level. It's truly disappointing how much GGG has doubled down on the idea that they need players to play this game and only this game. Unfortunately, I have a job and when I spend a whole day making zero progress or even worse finding out that the character I've been working on is no longer viable I can't help but feel like this game isn't for me.

Could you clarify who this game is for?

It's hard to be specific because, as Johnathon himself said, the 'difficulty' comes from a lot of little things. I'm a 500 hour PoE1, 0 of Diablo, and about 50 of PoE2. I am willing to invest time, and more importantly, money into this game.

I love theory crafting and trying new builds, but my mechanics are mid-tier due to how my brain works, and it feels like this an exclusive club, and I'm tired of being gaslit. Nearly every point along the campaign is a reminder of why I love this game, and a feeling GGG is saying 'unless you're upper-tier who has unlimited patience, we don't want you in our game'.

I can't get past the Act 2 boss because the reaction times are so unforgiving, I can't get creative with builds because we can't respec the ascendency tree and gem drops are so rare early on, and I'm emotionally exhausted because the maps are so big. And that would be ok, if I weren't playing with the mindset there is a whole endgame to supposedly enjoy.

And then we get gaslit by a vocal, but I believe minority, part of the community that just says 'skill diff' and assumes the pros on YT represent what is achievable for most players, be it mechanics or patience.

We don't want a game that can be sped-run and turn off our brains, but it just feels GGG is doubling down in the opposite direction with the main campaign.

So yeah, if you read this, which I assume is unlikely, I think I am part of a customer base, old and new, that is willing to invest time and money into this thing, but are worried about the direction. And we could use a statement, preferably from an upper person, that answers the question...

Who is this game for? I get it's an ea, but there must be an over arching goal guiding the design decisions. And we just want to know what that is.
