Orb of Reset/Wizard

Would an Orb of Reset or a Wizard somewhere in Wreaclast be a good idea to totally reset your passive skill tree?

Because right now, if you want to reset everything, you need about 80 orbs of regret, wich you won't get, or it will take a very long time.

Offering something else in the form of a wizard, who ask 1/2 orbs of everytype to reset your skill tree, or an orb of reset wich you could buy from a vendor, would really help out.

actually i see myself reseting my skill tree and im 40, its imposible or almost imposible. but u can actually buy orbs of regret for 3 scouring orbs in the potion trader :) but in the op i think it could be great, for example u have 4 resets for free and then u have to begin paying orbs or items, depending on the lvl u are, what i dont know if in the ob and fullrelease they will reset our pasive trees in the new patches :)
Orb of chance -> Orb of Scouring -> Orb of Regret
Yeena in Act 2 can hook you up. If you wish to farm orbs of regret, then it'll take a few days at least to get 80, but it's not that hard. Trading with people also can cut it down a lot. Most people have some orbs but just don't need them, so they are just burning a hole in their stash anyway. It's really easy to do a full respec if you want, but it's not "Wizard in the wilderness" or "orb of reset" easy.

My suggestion: Deal with it. The system isn't changing because it's too easy to abuse if we had full respecs available on command. The game might as well be D3 at that point.

CORRECTION: The guy above me said it's 3 scouring. Actually it's only 2. See how easy it is?

Just depends on how much time you have to play the game, if you can play 8 hours a day, it isn't a problem, but if you have only 1 hour, I don't think you will get those 80 respec point very soon.
Personally, I would love to see an Orb available for a full reset---but at cost, once PoE is live. For the most part, a full reset will have relatively low impact on the overall game play of others, provided the cost is substantial enough to ensure the option is offered as a novelty only---rather than a potential strategy.

The amount of time one has to play PoE greatly impacts their ability to farm orbs, this is true. However, this is the case with anything in any game. Those who play longer, will acquire more wealth. And this should always be the case. However, it does not prove so for everyone.

I can say that in my time here thus far ( about 5-6 weeks) I have logged anywhere from 4-8 hours a day (usually 6-8). Every day. And in total have received less than 10 orbs of regret.

A future option to purchase a full respec would definitely be used by myself and others who are "regretting" nub choices made in builds early on.

If you're only playing an hour every day you won't be getting to level 80 any time in the near future.

No thank you.
Welcome to a game with no hand holding and dumbing down :)
I like how GGG has dealt with respecs thus far. You are given and can obtain enough "regrets" for any tweaks you might decide to make.

Personally, Ive made drastic mistakes to builds and have never needed more than 10 or so regrets to get back on track.

I don't see any reason somebody in MoC would need to reset thier entire skill-tree, other than to play a totally different character. GGG isn't going to make that easy on you.

If you've really gotten to 80 passive points than your build is viable, and you can farm Orbs for a full respec.

Or you can start anew, as the game intended.

All of this^.

I knew someone who wanted a nearly full respec because they needed to tweak like 3 skills that were right at the "root" of their branching build. They farmed Chaos and sold everything of value to get enough regrets to do it. They could have just started over from scratch, but they had more fun farming/selling than they would have from leveling a new character.

I like the way GGG has handled the respec option to, but just if you have gotten to 50 doesn't always mean that your build is viable later on, and if you suddenly face the requiremenst of farming 50 orbs, that's isn't fun at all.

Games aren't meant to be farming sessions, as some people think. The reason that you play a game, is to have some fun, if you want to farm, buy a square mile of land, and do the real thing.
