My profile is messed up i guess. I've been playing PoE1 since it was closed beta.

maybe you have multiple accounts. I have a few. one of them got deleted by ggg that had 10k hours on it :D and they wouldn't undo it.

You're all clearly getting upset when you see people don't fall in line like you do.

Every post reacting to the massive, well deserved dislike of the game is just "skill issue" or the game is hard, or something of that nature.

The "hardness" of the the game is really just a small drop in the ocean of what's wrong with the game and the reason it doesn't even need to exist.

So, if people like the game... they're falling in line? Lol.
I got the sauce.

I think this game is designed to where you can't really get that stuck in it.

Uncut gems are plentiful = you can very easily change your skills around. There is at least 1 set of skills that can beat each act handily.

You could brick your skill tree, but I honestly don't think it's that impactful. Chances are you got SOMETHING useful on it you can use, or you can respec.

Gear is the easiest to change around. Yes it's not fun to grind up a whole new set of gear, but I mean, you could still do it. You're still learning the game and it's fresh and new, why not enjoy it?

People just need to apply themselves. If you don't want a challenging game, okay, but a lot of people do. I don't see what's so bad about sticking with poe1. It's still there for you.

I agree. PoE2 is much friendlier to a beginner, not by being shallow, but by having the systems gradually introduce the player organically into what tools do they have available and allowing them to easily correct mistakes without having to start a new character. PoE1 had this bounce off effect exactly because mechanics were obscure, and you had to have enough endurance to smash through that wall or follow a guide that is not exactly learning or at least it doesn't give you the satisfaction of having discover something.

The thread is more focused on the hate given on difficulty and without any valid reason to hate it. To give criticism and to hate is two different things. Calling a game bad without any thought out reason to actually dislike it due to you dying isn't good criticism for GGG.

It is true that the loot system needs buffed.

It is true that way too many maps is like labrynths.

This is just a few of things that needs to change and GGG already said they will update the game very often during early access. The actual launch of the game isn't now and they said so several times.

About the hate

Let's face it 99% of all hate comes from people that actually like POE2 and tell everyone else to git gud and stfu!
German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!
torturo: "Though, I'm really concerned, knowing by practice the capabilities of the balance team."
top2000: "let me bend your rear for a moment exile"
