Heavily consider decreasing mana costs on Gas Grenade, its absurd it almost doubles from level 14 to 18, youre punishing players for getting early +4 to skills weapons, we cant keep up with mana costs and theres not enough mana nodes early for this.
And if you think about anyother skill in the set, mana isnt enough for merc, theyre not casters, they souldnt need that much mana to just attack. Please, consider it, if you decrease skill damage, decrease its mana cost aswell. |

I think the nerf, do not adress the real problem of how fast explosion happens.
They could put some second delay after ignite the poison, to explode the gas. With Witch (my current class) this is a problem, because infernal hound instantly explode the poison cloud, without giving time to the cloud expand to hit more mobs, impacting of how much mobs we can clean. Suggestion: let the damage same, ignite trigger same too, but put a timer to the gas explode, so people will not spam to abuse. This will also help witch class. PS: i disagree with some comments about the slow gameplay. I loved it. The game is going to the right direction of what a arpg should be. We can actually see and enjoy every moment, instead just watch a "rgb fest in your screen" I bought the game just to test, but right now i cant stop play it. Its too early to do my final review, but the game has potential to be GOTY. |

Is there any ETA for when PS5 will get these hotfixes? It's been three now that have happened on PC since 0.1.0b.

To be honest, the gas grenade nerf was not that bad. It still felt fine for finishing the acts. The interaction itself was insanely fun to use, alongside with oil grenades that create burning ground when ignited. I wish these interactions could be expanded further, such as fire skills and burning ground igniting gas, gas being electrocuted, or ignited oil and gas grenades exploding directly with fire rather than being limited to "detonator" skills and ignited enemies. Allowing skills to affect not just enemies but the environment around you, and giving players the ability to discover their own ways of doing so, has huge potential for this game.

The nerf was fine and the damage is still great. Thank you for your hard work.
Everyone who is complaining about nerfs during EA needs a reality check. Go mourn on reddit or play D4 where the devs let broken damage interactions play out for months because they're held hostage by their audience - the 'let us have fun' (with bugs) mentality. This is literally the point of EA; for testing and balancing. |

Its sad to see a lot of people build getting nerf my brother ice sorceress is so nerf he need to find a way to change is build or start a new champ.
I main mercenary from what I felt the class crossbow abilities are weak they only rely on grenade to dish out damage I feel like late game you could go fire and ice to deal nice damage but from lvl 1 to 57 I have tested a lot and finded out that oil/gaz is the best for mercenary all other bolts spell are useless and boring to play rapid fire is bad you are slow as hell, high velocity shot gameplay for a1-a2 was boring as hell i couldnt wait to have oil grenade n gaz grenade and bolt dont do any damage against boss if its not high velocity round I hope they find a way to fix this class to be actully more fun to play and not nerf the only viable build I think gaz,oil is still the strongest build to level for now I cannot see this class doing cruel with any other build. Sincerly, the build gaz grenade is still atrong I was rekting a2 cruel this afternoon the only problem I see is that pretty much any other mercenary skill suck except the grenade and maybe high velocity round that can dish good damage but whatsoever all other skill are weak dont have any AOE like the nade gives them.
The other thing is they should have a icy grenade that blast ice for it to combo with witchfire, permafrost shotgun is weak all their crossbow attack are weak I have not tested yet a light build with plasma bolt but even then I feel like from what I played it will be hard to be good. If you dont find a good crossbow like I did even then I was having a hard time in cruel till I changed the crossbow and build to oil/gaz combo It would have been extremely hard for me to complete a1 if it was not from the gaz/oil combo and this is after nerf. Today I was killing it in a2 like rushing clearing before going to work its still strong but I feel its the only build to go early level since every other bolt spells are very weak and slow except for high velocity shot with support gems can do nice damage but still a bit weak whatsoever and very boring to play. Like I ddid early on high velocity shot with scattershot support and just snipping its was very boring to shoot the snipe all through the normal a1 and lot of a2 till act 3 I had to change to grenade build since I was getting kill over and over. They need to fix crossbow skills if they want people to actually play these other build and spells. Cluster grenade is weak and plasma bolt is a specific build that look late game and same goes for siege cascade lookbad ass but its weak as hell. Mostly a lot of mercenary skill are weak right now that what I felt like playing him for now and im level 56 or 57 right now. Oil/Gaz is the way to go. |
