All boots should automatically get movement speed.
I am still throwing out most boots because they don't have movement speed.
Please fix this must have stat, and just have all boots spawn with movement speed. Implicit? Last bumped on Dec 17, 2024, 6:47:26 PM

Movement Speed should not be a gear stat.
It should be part of skill animations, maybe some passives, temporary boosts and classes. GGG always trying to hard to be like hardcore Diablo 2. They forget the game had flaws. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

That just sounds like a zoomer's request to have higher movement speed in general. No thanks, that would break half of the boss encounters just sprinting around avoiding everything. This isn't PoE 1. |

Yeah, what's the difference between "all boots get movement speed" and "just increase the player's base movement speed"? Except, maybe, taking up an enchantment slot?

So many players feel like this. I'm really optimistic they'll implement something like this in the future. The game is for sure going to speed up.

I think there is value to having a growing implicit give you more movespeed as you level.
It is probably better for newer players to be slower early, that way they don't run into packs as quickly and can react. They could do this with things like stun and block recovery, light radius, really anything. It would be nice. |

Agree, or even rework movement speed entirely tbh
Movement speed is something so necessary that literally every build has to have it to be considered viable, and something so essential shouldn't be an 'option' imo 2 players with different movement speeds looks awful in co-op, if they want POE 2 to be a different game they need to rework things like this, but sometimes i feel like they're stucked in the "it's how it works in poe 1" mentality Last edited by Vyend#2601 on Dec 14, 2024, 7:05:40 AM
