Disagree, the loot is fine, feels rewarding, and drops plenty, you have been spoiled by years of absurd loot explosions turned to 11 which grew league by league. Loot matters again and has weight. You actually feel happy when you drop an orb. The game is now better.

You and the 3 Ruthless enjoyers are happy.I know they are.
But the 75,500 others playing league after league after league are not happy.

I see alot of the points ive been talking to my friends about mirrored in your post. Been playing PoE on and off since 2014.

Ive been trying out PoE 2 the last 2 days and i just cant bring myself to play more rn. Alot of the cool and unique aspects of PoE 1 that i play it for seem to either be missing or scaled back. Support gems beeing heavily restricted, the passive tree seeming to be almost inconsequential, decent loot and currency for crafting beeing nonexistent etc. . At no point did i feel significantly stronger then i did at lvl 1. Combat is exhausting, im doing nothing but kiting mobs around. Honestly if i wanted this gameplay experience i could just play a really weak build in PoE 1, no need for an entire new game.

Usually the point in creating sequels to a game seems in part to be to attract the players of the previous installment of that series. Experimenting with the formula is a given but it allmost feels like this game is specifically made to be unenjoyable to a large group of PoE 1 players. The combat in this game almost feels like the antithesis to PoE 1 combat. PoE 2 feels almost closer to D4 then to PoE 1 in game-flow. I see PoE players ranting online about how PoE 2 feels bad to play and beeing brushed off with a "this just isnt the game for you". If 'Path of Exile' 2 isnt for 'Path of Exile' players, then why call it Path of Exile at all ? You can just call it something else like : "Shores of Wraeclast" or really anything else to signify the departure in style.

You are right though, i can see the potential in here. This could be a fun game, especially for people new to PoE alltogether some of the simplified systems seem easier to get into. Sorry for the rant, i hope i dont come across too negative. I definetly will give this game another chance some time down the line.

Exactly that,

I want POE2 to succeed.
No, I want POE2 to be much more successful than POE1 ever could have been.

But in its current state ... no
Agree completely. Very well said. Poe2 feels like its splitting the player base

I wish the game had a lower difficulty for those like me with health issues that make gaming hard. Have this difficulty for those who want it, hell give them achievements and leaderboards for the extra effort. I just want to play the game, get loot, feel stronger, and have fun. Right now the game doesn't feel fun.

Yes, dude. I wish they made the current version ruthless and made a more standard version. I hate boss fights. I just want to blast and do maps.
I 100% agree with this feedback post. I truly want this game to succeed, and I hope they take your feedback into account. If they act on it and improve the system, it could become a great success.
