Could they do 2 seperate modes?
Seems like there's a crowd that wants the Ruthless/souls-like mode (call it whatever you want)
And ... The people who just wanted more PoE Would it be possible to do a new mode that is tweaked to be more like PoE 1? Or is the new game to different at a foundational level to even bother? Would it be to big a task to maintain 2 modes? Dumb idea? (maybe) Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 12:23:23 AM

The idea is great, I don't want to play the current poe 2, it's incredibly boring for me, let those who like this kind of mode play in a separate mode, and bring back zoom zoom for us.

We already have 2 modes, the plebian-retro-trad, "fast" paced mode is called "Path of Exile 1", and the other is called "Path of Exile 2".

" Lets be real, PoE 1 is starting to look very dated I was looking very much forward to PoE 2, for them to "bring PoE up to a 2019 standard" as they said during the announcement And the visuals are stunning Not saying I'm done with PoE 2 though While I'm a bit dissapointed with some aspecs, it's still early access |

" It's a great idea, so we could play a great game while "ruthless" players would do just what they did to ruthless mode in poe1 (not play it) and pretend they do and love it XD |

This seems like a way to keep both sides happy.

I would prefer that they keep both games separate.
If anything I think they should go back and try to touch up the graphics for the first game. Both will continue to be supported anyhow. So, that would just make more sense. Making both games the same fixes nothing and only serves to harm both. https://www.pathofexile.com/shop - Support Path of Exile!

i hope NO because they will focus on just one.

" That would be nice, but I'm very sceptical of this happening (with anyting that will result in huge visual overhauls) They already did do it in some ways And yeah, it looked nicer But nothing like PoE 1 > PoE 2 improvements I think there's a limit to how much they can do But who knows I'm certainly no expert Last edited by Jokke1989#7206 on Dec 8, 2024, 9:50:33 AM
