Cruel act 2 Ascent to power quest and uninterractable ascendancy shrine

Bump for some clarity about this and how many points are available in early access.

Same here i killed the boss who drops the key multiple times but quest doesnt progress-nothing drops

I've encountered the same issue, but maybe this isn't the kind of bug that we think it is.

I think that we're supposed to get the next ascendancy quest latter on the game but the boss keeps dropping the invite and the quest still pops as if we're still on non-cruel act 2 and that's why we can't complete the quest when finishing the sanctum.

So MAYBE it's a quest popup bug and not an ascendancy shrine uninterractable bug.

That's not the issue - I'm in maps and it's still bugged for me

+1 having the same issue as well. Killed once, dropped a grey item. Went and kill again but didnt drop any this time.
