Cruel act 2 Ascent to power quest and uninterractable ascendancy shrine

Same for me c'mon. I managed to drop the rune, kill the boss, started trial but died at last 10% of boss and now cant do it again

I think the progression of the quest needs clarity and is likely bugged but I believe it's just a misunderstanding/miscommunication based on what I've learned reading through this thread.

If you guys watched GGG's press conferences for POE2 they mention being able to decide how you ascend, potentially doing the same challenge for every ascension. Due to this it is possible for you to skip the ascension trial in act 3 (but this would leave the act 3 quest incomplete which feels weird), and then when you reach this quest in cruel, you would be able to ascend again using the "2" version. However if you ascend in act 3 (like the quests direct you to) then this "2" version is useless. Once you get a "3" version you'll be able to ascend in the Act 2 Trial again. I think the main confusion is the quests pushing you to do these things and potentially forcing players to leave acts without completing all of it's quests.

I have a similar issue here, I have the coin for the sekhemas trial but the quest doesn't update it keep telling me to search for the traitors passage.

I think the issue is that the trial map is already unlocked on normal difficulty but it doesn't unlock on cruel difficulty

When I look for the trial of sekhemas map it show : monster level : 22 -> this is not the cruel difficuty version of the map this is why the quest wont complete even if we win the trial

It's not only that i cannot get my ascendancy points. I am stuck in the ascent to power quest in act 2 cruel and i cannot prorgess the act further so i can't reach endgame

The same thing happened to me and Ascendancy 4 is the same, I put the ultimatum entry at level 58+ and when I kill the two final bosses I can't click to ascend
