There seems to be a LOT of confusion around ascending due to acts 2 and 3 repeating. You are normally supposed to get 2 points in A2, 2 in A3, then 2 in A4 and the last 2 in endgame. Since we don't have A4 currently, the way to get your 5th and 6th points is completing the 3rd floor of Sanctum or supposedly the 7th round of Ultimatum, though I've heard people say it needs to be 10 floors.

Yeh im lost on what to do, I run the zone to try drop the coin, but nothing ever happens, the NPC at the Alter doesnt give me another coin.

I believe I found out how to get the 3rd set of ascendancy points. You need a token that is level 65 or higher.

did you have the quest bugged and completed trial at 65 and got third set of ascendancy points?

First Floor = 2 Ascendancy Points
Second Floor = 4 Ascendancy Points Third Floor = 6 Ascendancy Points Fourth Floor = 8 Ascendancy Points If you do Temple of Chaos / Ultimatum in Act 3, doing second floor does not award any points as you have already unlocked them and you need to do 3rd floor. This is what they mean by you being able to choose which of the two trial mechanics you do. |
