Kinda sad what other people here are saying about POE 2

To be blunt, not including new players, these POE 1 players who say POE 2 is bad, boring, dodge simulator and such are pampered by POE 1 so much. If you have attempted the uber in POE 1 just a few times, you'd immediately notice some semblance about how you approach a fight in POE 2. The only difference is that, we are slower in POE 2 and thus, we dodge more. If you haven't done any pinnacle boss in POE 1, then I think that's also a valid way to play a league so I am not gonna blame you for that. Bosses have too much hp? too hard? then why do other people can do it quite easily? Is the the difficulty of POE 2 really the problem or on other factor?

I know its your own opinion but saying the game is bad because you are having a hard time is kinda really unfair don't you think? One prominent POE stream said in the past, being bad at the game is a choice.

the difficulty gap from poe1 to poe2 is ridiculous i'm sorry it just is !

i do hope they will implement difficulty choices in the future

That's a good thing imo.

When ruthless came out streamers said the exact same thing about it. "You're a stupid loser who is bad at life if you don't like ruthless! I can do it which means I'm better than you! Look how much fun I'm having!!!" Then 100% of them quit ruthless and never touched it again because it wasn't fun to play or to watch.

The gatekeeping and elitism in response to valid frustrations is what's bemusing (though usual and expected).

PoE 2 is too hard IMO. It's early days of course, and Early Access, so they will tune it. In the end, if it remains this clunky, dodge dependent, and slow, I'll just go back to PoE. Not every game is for everyone. I get that.

Those who are loving it, all power to you.

I see PoE2 as a sequel of Wukong more than PoE.
I'm not even talking about the difficulty of the boss fights but the frequency, too many, too often.
This is my humble opinion: I can't see myself coming back every season to replay a wukong like game, if that's the direction GGG chose for PoE2 I can only accept it and give up on playing it, it would be nice to know if that's the case to avoid spending further time in a game that's not for me.

It does feel too slow, and too much reliant on Dodging. Its bearable, but the downside is, you get 1 shot on most of the boses and you have to start from scratch + the resistances at the start cant be capped, so it makes no sense for it to be this difficult on Act 1 or Act 2 (I can maybe justify A4\5\6).
And again, the mobs are sooo fast and smash you in an instance, meanwhile, you just wobble around. The slowdown on cast is sooo bad and anoying, its uncanny. I can barely dodge boss attacks, let alone try and do damage while crawling...

Vile Vultures just spam slam on me, non-stop. Meanwhile, my spark\arc do jack...
And before the "Pros" come and say, oh its a skill issue, yeah, right.

We don't need toxic comments like that and FYI, the sentence that I quoted that was from a streamer is from a chill and really good guy. This isn't about elitism, this is about them saying POE 2 is bad and if you look things from a purely objective point of view, why am I having a hard time in POE 2 but others don't? Some people don't evaluate themselves or they don't include themselves in the equation and just put the blame onto something. If this was about elitism, I could just worded my entire post as "Please GGG, ignore these people who are having a hard time with your game, other people are doing okay". I didn't scrub their opinion as someone lesser. The game hasn't been out for 2 days and we all know that a build can be bad at 1st without gear.

I think this is a huge point. Being boring even to watch the gameplay on stream, is quite telling by itself.
