Boss drops permanently gone - poe2

i was just in a party beating count geonor i Act 1. when beat him and i could see a lot of loot grayed out and disapearing fast and then suddenly its gone. My party memebers starts to show what they got and i got NOTHING. stupid!

Mine was end of Act 1 wolf boss, i died then poison killed the boss could see the cut scene, restarted and found boss dead with no loot or able tio restart fight .

It hasn't happened to me yet but I still find it frustrating for no reason so I'd also like a change so it can never happen.

this is insanely annoying, just killed act 2 titan boss at the same time as he killed me and there was a unique armor on the ground. Respawn at checkpoint, quest item on ground, loot all gone. Please tell me this is a bug, it's a horrible experience for boss fights...

What's the rational for areas resetting after death in the first place? I don't get it.
I've also experienced this scenario: I killed the boss as he killed me and lost all loot + map had reset e/ also this "cannot join this area after dying" mechanic when in party... there's probably a reason for things to work that way but I don't get why Last edited by BlueCheez#4481 on Dec 11, 2024, 1:44:02 PM

Yeah this is literally the worst thing about the game. You learn the mechanics, beat the boss, and suddenly a couple adds pop in and explode you after a semi-cut scene slows you down. Its a horrible mechanic and needs to be removed. The game is punishing enough but this is just insulting. Your reward is nothing but moving on past the boss. Just beat the Viper Napuatzi, so satisfying, see awesome drops, then surrounded and dead instantly after the fight. Seriously?

Just killed the Wolf at the end of Act 1 but also died at the same time - saw the loot and it was gone after I resurrected - needs to be fixed for sure! Either leave the loot or reset and allow to try again...

+1! lost uniq helm in the begging of act2 being slayed by the horde that suddenly appeared after the boss death... after the respawn there is nothing :\
