Multiplayer Loot - Common or seperate?
" Whoa whoa whoa whoa... Someone clearly hasn't read up on this idea. NOBODY is asking for them to multiply drops by the number of people in the party so that everyone gets their own full instance worth of loot. That would be ridiculous. Current system: Boss dies, drops 10 items, 6 whites, 3 blues, 1 yellow. Timer system allocates 2 blues to one person, other person gets 1 yellow and 1 blue, whites don't get allocated. Instanced loot: Boss dies, drops 10 items, 6 whites, 3 blues, 1 yellow. Instance allocates 3 whites and 2 blues to one person, and the other person gets 3 whites 1 blue and 1 yellow. There's no extra loot being generated. There's still the exact same number of items entering the economy. The only difference is that when a Regal Orb or a 6 slot rare chest drops from a mob, it only shows up on ONE persons screen. Side note: I'll be doing exactly what the old man said if the system isn't changed come Open. I'll have 5 free mule accounts mindlessly following me around turning mobs into loot pinatas for me. As soon as a regal orb or 6 link drops for someone in your party and you get a scroll of wisdom, you are going to be on the forums complaining about how you should have had the chance to get a 6 link or regal drop also. |

Oh hell forgot the open beta. We'll get increase of both trolls and complainers along with large quantity of ninjas. And to someone who mentioned the last kill system there is a better idea.
The damaged given to the monster and if possible received. This way there will be no finisher ninjas who wait for the last second. |

New to Path of Exile, but I want to support this game.
I believe the timer is very fair IF the timer was at least 15 seconds and perhaps the timer only started to countdown when the player was within a decent range. |

Not a fan of FFA loot either. It was interesting in D2, but this form of item distribution totally kills the fun of gathering a random party and start to play since Path of Exile is not that friendly either with giving you items which you need for being able to continue in higher difficulties.
I am also sure that we WOULD SEE MUCH MORE parties on the party board if the timer would get more seconds for a even fairer distribution of the items. My little tribute to Diablo 1 aka why Diablo 3 is the worst part of the series.

I notice a lot of ninja's cause timers are TOO SHORT for RANGE PLAYERS.
When an item drops the way is mostly TO FAR for a range player like lihtning witch to get to it. Almost every time the timer is down befor i am even on the other side of the screen. Think timers should be doubled for skillgems etc. |
