I had no issues with this but since the cast on freeze patch it crashes like once per hour...

Happening all the time now. I've lost multiple Sanctums and Ultimatum runs today, can't get my 3rd ascendecy pair of skill points.
i5-13600k RTX 3070 „I don't give a fuck if it was his tenth anniversary with his goddamn neckbeard...“
„If they think I'm going to let them sweep this pizza guy thing under the rug...“ No mod action. Business as usual. |

Have had this crash 7 times after the patch, so patch didnt fix it :'(
Why no words from GGG about this problem? |

Same issue, appearing once every 1-2 hours.

This is a nvidia driver issue. Update your drivers but do a clean install which deletes all of your settings. Once this is done then use kaspersky or ccleaner to clean up your registry entries and restart the pc afterwards.
One residual nvidia driver system file would get bugged out by POE and make WMIproviderhost freak out and consume 100% of cpu usage which in turn prevented textures being loaded properly. |

I'm getting this as well, but it's happening when the game is paused and I walk away (20-30 mins it seems). My drivers are up to date, and recently had to do a fresh windows install. When the nvidia drivers came out with the POE2 update, I ran DDU to clear out the old driver to make sure I had a truly fresh install

There needs to be a staff member get into this thread and actually say something. The lack of anything from them is very concerning.
Here's my experience with the following: 12700K, i7, RTX4090, updated driver 1. Constant game dropouts with "Failed to create resource for texture []" 2. Also drops out with no failure message. 3. These dropouts are every 1 hour or so. 4. It doesn't matter if I'm AFK or not. 5. Game runs fine right up until it crashes (at least 50 crashes) 6. Could possibly be worse after last patch but at this stage the crashes just blend into each other, so who knows What I've tried 1. Complete re-download of the game 2. Changing out of DX12 (this just caused massive FPS drops) 3. Loading backdated drivers So GGG get back to us, even if just to say you're working on it and a small explanation on what you're working on for a fix. |
