POE 2 Bad

PoE1 was too easy too.... I remember when the hardest enemy in the game were the stupid triple fire breathing dogs on the docks...

Just wait... ;)

People who say that using roll is difficult and requires skill are just ridiculous. Roll is just a shitty mechanic that doesn't fit this type of game. And anyone can learn to use it in time (I don't take console players into account) People loved poe not for the "epic" boss fights

and you can tell they heavily designed / balanced the game around rolling.. bad design

I seen so many complaints coming from this, people just want to skip the whole game and rush to maps again like poe1, many complaints all coming from this root cause. Why? If you just wanted to map forever you could have stayed on poe1 and saved yourself $30. What do you think you're going to get from falling into the same nonstop mapping loop?

I don't see customized gameplay as a bad idea. Good experienced players playing on easy mode is also a terrible idea. It is like an adult in kiddie pool. There is nothing to be proud of.

players who got carried by gear in ARPGs before come to the forums to complain.

i've beat the bosses and i dont feel rewarded for the effort it takes to beat them. i just want them to die and i go on to the next act so i'm doing maps.
as if u get rewarded in poe1 for beating bosses. spend hours practicing this dumbass memory game only to get nothing from the boss

You won't believe it, but that's exactly what I did
The game is quite literally 'Roll Dodge of Exile 2'. I'm a Mercenary, and the best way for me to kill bosses is just to sit right next to them in melee range holding right click and spamming roll dodge whenever they do an animation.

The fantasy of playing a ranged bada$$ is completely gone. I feel like some pathetic streamer tryharding when I signed in to play an ARPG.

The absolute worst part of the game is the complete lack of build options. Mercenary for example.. for some reason they have a ton of 1 handed and 2 handed melee and minion type nodes near their base. But worse than that, you basically can only borrow 'Shockwave Totem' from Warriors but that's about it.

It's the same for Witch. You just cast your DOT / let your minions attack a boss while you roll dodge around like a clown at the circus.

Who in the heck thought this was going to be a rewarding gameplay loop?

And to make matters even WORSE, you slip and slide while attacking and casting spells, so the gameplay feels sloppy at all times since you have to account for having roller skates on. Embarrassing, tbh.

I can almost guarantee we have the popular streamers to thank for how bad the game is. They get paid those massive deals from the devs to promote and be involved, and then they are too scared to criticize the devs because they don't want to effect their streaming job (which is understandable). This is why letting Streamers balance your games is a horrible idea. Because streamers have no 'cajones'.

I don't believe that when developing the game they listened not to those who play, but to those who make shows on it or just watch. All these zizarans with their feigned enthusiasm soyjack faces in the every preview. I want to believe that they just love dark souls more than POE. At least it's not incredibly stupid
Honestly I think they should just take all the money they made from poe2 key sales and use it to fund the further development poe1 instead of dumping the money into poe2. Yeah Poe2 is new and fun but it's basically just the same game with better graphics I mean basically all arpg similar at this point from what I have seen.

Basically I don't really think poe2 is bad but it's not different enough to make me love it more then poe1.

I hope a lot of the people trying out poe as poe2 for the first time give poe1 a try also it's really in the best state poe1 has ever been in balance / content wise. It was basically expected that poe2 wouldn't surpass poe1 in playability at launch and probably not for a good bit till they add more endgame stuff and league mechanics to poe2

Yep those dock dogs used to kill me quick. To this day I never figured out whether the blue flames of theirs are fire (because they are flame) or cold because they are blue.

It's a fire / physical attack not a spell looked into it extensively back in the day. And the main reason it killed people then is because we walked around with like 5 fire resist like morons.
