POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
+1 I'm also getting full PC lock ups on occasional loading screens.
PC Specs: Win 11 24H2 AMD 7800X3D Nvidia 4090 Fix attempts: Switching from Directx12 to Vulkan Improved time between crashes but still crashed every few hours (since new patch today, crashes within minutes) Setting CPU limit in power options to 95% (with Directx12) crashes on first loading screen Setting CPU limit in power options to 90% (with Directx12) crashes on first loading screen Setting CPU limit in power options to 90% (with Vulkan) crashes within 20mins Things I'll be trying going forwards: Disabling multithreading I'll edit this post as I explore more options. Note: Definitely crashing a lot more today after the new patch, can barely make 20mins gameplay compared to two hours yesterday Last edited by Scarycollar#4921 on Dec 10, 2024, 6:00:00 AM

New patch and Im crashing more
"I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."

Also having the issue:
2070 Super Ryzen 5700x3D It seems that most of people reporting the issue here are using AMD CPUs, so it might be related. Tried few things and nothing is really working 100 % unfortunately. |

" Can't even play today. It now crash half the time even when the game is loading to town for first time. And if I pass that it crash when loading after I teleport somewhere. I tried everything mentioned in this thread and it doesn't help. I even verify files integrity of the game in Steam and also did the same for Windows. |

How is this still not fixed?
For people who want to play badly, like me, you can disable multithreding in graphics options menu before loading any area then enable it back. |

" It's an issue with the latest windows update - Rolling it back will work - I think its the Windows 11 24H2 ver that has conflicts with POE2. Last edited by MaximumSpanked#4118 on Dec 10, 2024, 5:56:18 AM

Same problem here 7800x3d 4080 super windows 10 cant play the game more than 5 minutes!

Ah shiet, here we go again. This same thing started happening with Remnant 2 about a month ago. It's Microsoft Windows scuffed update as far as I could find. Not all games are affected which makes me think it's also related to nVidia drivers because of the way it freezes the computer (while audio can still be heard so it's nota CPU/memory crash).

Is there anyone who tried disabling multithreading in graphics options and it did not help?
