I'm on a 4090 and 9800X3D. I've just been disabling multithreading before every loading screen... limiting cores never worked for me, as well as affinity rules and lasso. I just stopped playing until it's fixed. still a great game, idk why people are having mental breakdowns over a beta state EA game bug while devs are on holiday. just be patient, its not the end of the world.

No they didn't address it at all. Crash to desktop /=/ Hard PC Crash/Freeze. Completely separate issues.

Except it's also an issue in PoE1 so currently we can't play either. I would gladly wait for it to be solved if it was PoE2 only since it's EA but when it affects a 12 year old game as well then I can't just sit and watch.

Lets hope that all the crybabies just refund. It´s probably a difficult situation since it´s also a problem with windows. I having the issue myself but calm down. It´s not the end of the world. They will solve it in a couple of weeks/months.

If you can not wait and you´re going nuts because of it, then you having other issues anyways.

This really sucks, but just turn off multithreading in the meantime. Performance is not great, but at least it's playable.

Damn didnt even mention this 375 page thread in the interview. O well, im sure they are actually working on it for real. Radio silence just sucks.

This is such a bad take, im here because im a consumer who has paid for a product that doesnt work. I am unable to replicate this issue with any other software (i game alot) so i am complaining to to GGG.

If the problem is with Windows or Nvidia then just let us know so we can stop going on about it. All we want is an update. I refuse to believe the hundreds of players commenting here and those that havent all suddenly have hardware issues that only manifest in PoE. Many have reported this issue on brand new hardware.

Disgusted that the interview didnt bring up the biggest and most talked about issue on their own support forums yet they were happy to talk about a random CTD and a data breach affecting 60 odd players. The chats on all streams were being spammed with this issue and no one brought it up.

It's very frustrating. Two weeks ago I bought a bran new computer because I was only getting 40 frames max on maps with a 2070, so I upgraded to a 4080 super and a 9800x3d with 64 gigs of RAM. On my first log in into the game on my new PC my entire system froze and I had to hard shut down. When I did get in the game played perfectly at around 300 fps until it froze on a random loading screen. This happened 2 more times after that in the next week.

I refuse to play the game until this is fixed in fear of causing permanent damage to my hardware and software. It was very disappointing that GGG did not even mention that they are working on it to ease the level of concern amidst customers in this thread. If it isn't addressed in the next month or two, I'm just moving on to a new game.

Funny thing, I bought new pc and used my old 3060 in it
It was crashing crazy, so I thought it's time to update GPU
Replaced it to 4070 and still crashing:D
Friends with nvidia has no issues
fk knows...

I am unsub'd to Darth/Ghazzy for not asking about the CPU crash into maps. Glazers and softball kings.
