POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

same problem , multiple freezes during playtime only solution hard reset to computer

rtx 3090, 7800x3d , 64gb ram , win11 24h2,

Have to just bump this. No fix yet, and still have the crashing. I’m done booting on my pc for now. Love this game so much tho. 9800X3D 4080 super constant loading screen crashes

Same issue although my PC blue screens with an error "driver power state failure" after a minute or so after the freeze (froze twice). I don't think it is an overheating problem. My cpu temps were at 64-69C and peaked once at 70C for less than a second but on loading a new area cpu spikes to 100% utilization.

No warnings or errors in event viewer before or after the crash.

I don't know but this might be something to consider as well.

Hey, folks. I need a larger sample size to see if this is the issue. I switched to Vulkan, instead of DX12 and so far I have not crashed or frozen in several load screens. We need more people to see if they switch, does it fix it for them? With more instances, we may find out if this is a solution or if for some reason it helped just me. I will come back here if I crash again.

If this fixes the problem, please spread the word here and on social media. It'd mean DX12 and direct3d/windows is the issues and will help guide the Devs to figuring it out.

Several people already reported switching to Vulkan does sadly not work. Including me.

Darn. I just spammed waypoints and TPs, it crashed again. You were right. I feel like it happened less but it was not an actual fix.

Freezing more than ever since new patch. Have to hard reset my pc quite often. Very frustrating

i dont crash i just get infinite loading screen spinning gears, cant even zone into the game anymore FML
