POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
"This unfortunatly doesn't fix for me either. We just need a patch, or at least, a word/position from someone in GGG, like, are they even looking into this? last response from them about this issue was on 10th December.. It will be a month later in 1 week.. This crashes are happening since the launch of the EA, they should be having this at priority to resolve even before 10th or this thread to get popular. at minimum give information on what is being done, if it even is. It's just sad to see that PLAYERS are the ones coming with workarounds to fix the crashes, like the .exe uncrasher, unnistalling o.s. etc, while the company gives no response for more than 20 days on a major issue like this. I already gave my negative review on steam, and i honestly really hope to change it to positive in the near future Last edited by drx#8804 on Jan 2, 2025, 5:44:50 PM

I was getting crashes on almost every load screen when using a rare stone I'm on AMD ryzen 5700x3d, Win 11 23h2, geforce rtx 3060 Last edited by CovidPatientZero#0332 on Jan 2, 2025, 8:37:43 PM

" Yeah, in PoE 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Space Engine, Unreal Engine. Someone reported it was happened on Diablo 2 Resurrection. Tell me, dude with college level of programming, why do your operating system can't process interrupts and switch to other tasks? " Yep, highly likely. The other OS also affected by this shit, more or less depending on config / conditions. I suppose it's not around the specific kms, but around the architecture and the critical parts involved in the process. This is the reason it happens on the Linux machines. It may be badly written UEFI non-maskable interrupt handler, we already had similar case in the past. Who knows. " PM me and I'll show why it's happened. Can't post it here. We did not get a fix. It'll be a month in three days.
Streamers talk about everything but this "bug". Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1. I apologize for any unanswered messages.

I Had this issue aswell, only solution was a rollback to 23H2, ever since the rollback i havent had single freeze/lag w/e
I searched several sites about this issues, seems to be a issue from windows itself, many people have reported this bug to microsoft itself, and their only solution was a rollback aswell, so for you guys that have this issue, consider doing a rollback to 23H2 untill windows fixes the issue. |

" 23H2 is possible with Linux. Therefore, I must see the head of my order, Linus Torvalds. He is both wise and powerful. Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam. PoE2: A good, giving game Last edited by interbeing#5112 on Jan 2, 2025, 10:14:58 PM

" Don't think I've had a crash in the rest of those games (got a 9800X3D and a 4090) and haven't seen much on those games crashing in general either in 24h2 as far as a hard system crash. I've played multiple UE5 (several hours in Marvel) games without issue and yet I got this 100% loop bs a whole mess of times before I gave up on it. PoE's crashing issues are entirely different. Its either the code or something to do with DX12/Vulkan because even Linux has issues with it and I'm pretty sure they are using either Proton or Wine, which are more or less Windows API emulators for Linux.
