POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I dont understand how anybody can defend this just because its an EA game.
There is absolutely no excuse for a game of any sort breaking hardware.
I have almost 1000 games on my steam account and 80% of those were or are EA games yet this is the ONLY one breaking hardware.

Seriously if your defending GGG because its an EA game i feel sory for you.

This is 100% on GGG.
Thank you for making this thread OP. Also thank you to whoever posted the POEUNCRASHER.exe utility as that has 100% totally fixed the issue for me!

I have been Playing PoE for a very long time. While this current issue does suck and I am dealing with it myself I can assure I have never seen a company in my years of playing, fix an issue as fast as them. Community problem? addressed almost instantly, for years. So for people like you to claim that they are just being incompetent is wild to me. There hasn't been anyone in the office for awhile now, and yes it is EA. This will get fixed and will be forgotten. everyone needs to relax.

In the meantime I am among you using wild work-arounds just to play the game. I am frustrated. But holy Hannah some of you are acting like its bedlam out here.

Same issue. Disabling Multithreading seems to help, but it puts the frame rates very low and almost unplayable in town.

7800X3D
4070 Ti Super
Windows 11 24H2
Same. Hard locking every few hours on load screens. Tried Uncrasher and it worked reasonably well, until I started hard locking mid gameplay. Not even during load screen anymore. Disabling multithreading helps, but drops me to 45 FPS.

Brand new PC with brand new windows as of Dec 20.

AMD 9700X
MSI B650

Your totally missing the point, i totally understand game development and how good GGG normally are at fixing issues but you are wrong this time round.

Are you actually trying to defend them here when peoples hardware is getting broken? Its mind boggling if you are.
This issue is absolutely indefendable.
Bugs and issues are part of the course - breaking hardware IS NOT!!!!
For those of you having this problem, the culprit is Windows 11 24H2. Revert back to 23H2 and your issue will be gone.

Is there any proof of this or just hearsay?

Can you please guide me in reverting back to Windows 11 23H2 from Windows 10 22H2?

Also would appreciate a guide on how to revert back to Windows 11 23H2 from a Linux.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1. I apologize for any unanswered messages.

You can check both threads for actual reports.

You can also use basic electrical and computer engineering knowledge (which I have provided, but am sure you can find by yourself in online resources, in libraries, or ask ChatGPT if you don't want to bother)

Even if the entire development team is on vacation, the support team can put up an information or apology message instead of removing people's posts.
