Turning off multithreading has completely eliminated the crashing for me, 10 hours of gameplay since turning it off. Its a performance hit but honestly i'd rather take that than deal with the crashes.
Fingers crossed this Nvidia driver update does the trick. Or we get some news from GGG. |

" There is no mistake. If your machine was produced after 2010 (or 2007?) it has UEFI. BIOS is completely deprecated and no longer used in modern systems. So your system is under UEFI control, unless it's 15+ years old. UEFI Setup is executed on your CPU indeed, and it can hang up. But it is only "front-end" of the entire system, the back-end is executed on your motherboard chip and some parts on CPU. UEFI is modular, BIOS was monolythe. For the average Joe there is no difference between BIOS and UEFI but the actual difference is pretty huge. |

" Because them telling you they are still working on it means literally nothing. Them still working on it doesn't help you, the only thing that helps you is them fixing it. Until they fix it, saying anything else is pointless. Last edited by Erionn#6306 on Dec 26, 2024, 9:01:35 PM

Kapps' poeuncrasher works great so far
https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher Read their comments before trying if you're hesitant. Anyway... so now y'all are telling me it's an Nvidia issue because some forum responder commented on a dude saying its his OS version giving him hard locks... Vague and weird. Where are the amd gpus experiencing this issue |

" Thats like a fix that's been said since day 1, two weeks ago. You can turn on again multithreading when you loaded into the map if you want that performance back, you just have to remember to turn it off before portal back to hideout. Personally in my hideout I'm at 70fps so I don't need to turn it on again after a map, in my case I just turn it on after loading the map area and then turn it off when I'm about to leave. It's the only fix I've been doing and I can play like 10 hours without crashing. |

"I have this problem on my 6900XT build under Windows 10. It isn't exclusive to Nvidia. |
