Hard crashing PC locks up

After almost 3 weeks i gave POE2 another go, but unfortunately i had another Hard Crash, maybe i should try POEUncrasher , but damn, i'am seriously scared to break my entire System.......🙁🙁🙁
I'am also disappointed that not a single streamer mentioned these problems, besides the fact GGG hasn't spoken about the issue either.

I want to repost my solution to prevent freezes. It might not solve it for you, but at least try this:

1] CPU-affinity: disable two cores. I elect 0 and 1.
This prevents your system from completely locking up when a freeze occurs. Do your hardware a favor.

2] Download BES and limit the PoE2 executable from reaching 100% CPU activity. I set my limit to -4% from the maximum.

I do not get any freezes on my system with those two steps. YMMW

bumping this as it has fixed the freezes for me
Bought the game this morning on Steam. Crashed hard on loading screens multiple times in the first hour. Refunded. Left a Steam review. Sorry to those who aren't able to refund.

Tried poe uncrasher and it didn't crash but my 9800x3d temp still spiked to 87c instantly zoning into an area. Something is seriously wrong with this games loading.

Yes. PoeUncrasher misses other types of hardcrash (there is more lmao) like opening waypoint map. We all know waypoints look like they are loading something because of the cog wheels. PoeUncrasher probably doesn't see this from the .txt file it is reading into.

Expected but it means our regular loading crashes is NOT the final boss of our story hahaha
we shouldnt half to be pro IT players or computer geniuses to play a simple game. Having to download files change core adjust computer settings etc etc should not be a "US" issue to resolves and find work arounds to be able to play a basic ARPG. I play games with much greater requirements to play the games and have zero crash or issue with those games. ALL the people who scream its "Early access what you expect" are the real problem because they arn't pushing problems to get GGG's attention to get the game working properly they are just brushing it off as EA blah blah. Yes it's early access BUT this is a critical game functionality that HAS to be fixed above all priority's to even be able to play the game properly.

It isn't a recipe for getting banned, why would it be?

using an unverified 3rd party app to modify the game/client behavior
you must be new to live service gaming?

You know.. you can just openly admit that you don't know what you're talking about.

The tool does not interact with the game client in any way that's not allowed. It reads from the client.txt file, which is explicitly allowed by GGG. Other than that, all it does is modify the process affinity/priority exactly as if you were using the task manager which so many people here were doing manually themselves. This tool just does that process automatically.

I have a 9800X3D myself with a Stream Deck that monitors temps from HWINFO64 and I haven't noticed any crazy temp climbs during load times like that but I'll try and keep a closer eye next time I boot up.

A lot of the crashes I had prior to using POEUncrasher was when I tried loading my character in from the main menu upon launch. I think X3D chips are the most impacted by whatever is going on.
I have probably crashed a 100 times in the last week with a full PC lockup. I have a AMD 7800X3d. Its always when I am trying to use a portal to another zone. I have used 3 different versions of the game launcher: Steam, Epic and the stand alone launcher. I crash the same on all of them.
I switched to Vulcan and i stoped 99% of my crashes.

It's like fighting a FFXIV raid boss.

Phase1: Use PoEUncrasher to soak the Total Party Kill Move.

Yeah! We got this.

*music changes from classical to hard rock and vocals start*

Phase2: The True Form of Crash.

Anyway it has been 30 days since this crash was first encountered.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
