So it happened to me after 60 hours played and it most annoying places of course. During my third acenday trial for points. Game freezes(not PC) for 5 seconds and i die, trial over. I dont understand it said i had 2 tries ?????
5 second freeze but no PC freeze. No errors in windows event viewer: Setup: 7950x3D, 6900 XT, Windows 11 24H2. I cant imagine playing HC until this is fixed. |

tried launching the game today and hard locked my whole PC on enter world loading screen.
rebooted, immediately tried again and full system lockup again before even trying to enter world. updated BIOS to latest version from last week and tried changing from dx12 to vulkan, again full system lockup on enter world loading screen. during lockup i notice fans go to 100% and whole system slows to a crawl (cursor etc), eventually fans go back down to idle speed and system is locked up. i already got over 15 hours in the game during 1st week so i imagine it's probably some more recent patch that caused the issue. my whole system is brand new (other than GPU), less than 2 weeks old. all drivers etc up to date. w11 24h2 9800x3d 1080 ti |

I want to share my input.
I have played this game for about two weeks or so (played PoE 1 for years) and I haven't had a single crash yet and loading screens never locked up so far. Loading screens takes 2-3 seconds, CPU goes up to 60-70% in a second and then down again to 10-15%, and at the same time the fans goes crazy too, and then down into idle again, so something seems really off with the game in these situations - no doubt. A game that seems to require alot of power during these situations doesn't seem normal at all. I just want to share my specs and settings so people won't just think some stuff is automatically bad and won't work because someone says so and then gets blamed for it and that you should stay away from it. Not saying it's not GGG's fault, because I really don't know, but I am sure that there is room for performance optimizations from their side, but everything works for me (so far atleast). i9-14900KF Z790-F BIOS 2703 NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4090 (v566.36) DDR5 6000Mhz 64GB (XMP enabled) Windows 11 (23H2) Optimization for games in windows mode is off. Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) is on. I haven't messed with the cores at all. In game-settings: DirectX 12 Vsync Adaptive (144) Dynamic Resolution on Resolution 1920x1080 Upscale Mode NVIDIA DLSS HDR off Graphics medium to high Nvidia reflex On Boost Triple-buffering off Ask me about anything for other settings and such that you are interested in for comparison. |

Do any of the devs even check this place? Is anyone from the game’s development team going to comment? As for me, I didn’t have any freezes since the game launched, but lately, it’s literally unplayable – the game freezes every time I use a teleport, it’s a complete disaster…

Seems to crash to desktop more often when in group.
Crashed while in trial and now my Djinn is gone and unable to continue. Had one more and was in group and same crash to desktop, unable to rejoin and lost another djinn " This Sanctum has already been opened, so it can no longer be joined". Other non crashed party members can complete without me, no ports, etc to re-join.
