Hey All, Here is the FIX that is working for me:

Enter BIOS - disable Intel HyperThreading technology / SMT (if you have AMD CPU).

I am playing for 3-4 days and no problems. Before that, game was freezing every time.

System:
i9 9900k OC
32 gb ram ddr4 , 3600 cl 14
RX 7900 XT

Windows 11 pro 24h2

Game settings: all default - only FSR (performance) and Vulcan, fps set to: 60.

My CPU doesn't have HT at all (9700k) and I still had this issue. For me working fine combination of Vulcan and PoE Uncrusher (run as admin). For few days no any single crash/freeze.
Okay so i did these two things

rolling back recent windows update KB5048667 and
using Vulkan instead of directx

Doing this seemed to have stopped both the insane lag shader spikes i was getting and the hard reset issues i was running into

Hope that helps someone
Using Vulakn instead of DirektX12 did the job for me aswell.
I can finally play again :)))
Continuing to get a Kernal 41 crash randomly every couple hours of gameplay. The game crashes to a black screen in which the pc has to be reset manually via the power button. Upon restarting the pc I then have to repair my gpu driver and readjust my graphics settings every time it happens. I understand that it is early access, and I am prepared to keep playing and dealing with this issue, but in 40 years of PC gaming I've honestly never had a game crash as hard as what I am experiencing.

I have tried many things to fix this issue on my end, from altering the clockspeed of my cpu and gpu, disabling cores on my cpu as well as disabling simultaneous multithreading on my cpu, downgrading windows from windows 11 back to windows 10, even changing my power supply, and though the crash seems to happen less frequently, it's still a huge thorn in my hand that is severely hindering my enjoyment.

I am currently running the following hardware:
CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 3800X
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800XT
RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200
PSU: Thermaltake 850 Watt Gold
STORAGE: Samsung 970 Evo Plus M2 NVME
WINDOWS: Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2, OS Build 19045.5247

Besides this, you have crafted a great game, I really do hope you are able to eliminate these kinds of issues on the near future.

Well. POE officially damaged my hardware. since few crashes few days ago Im getting BSOD like once a day and my computer itself is freezing even in idle state. All of this just because devs cant figure out why game forces CPU and GPU to 100% limits. thank you.
What's the BSOD error message you are getting?
I will check it out after next one. as of right now the only thing related to that timeline is power shortage to CPU and that doesnt make any sense at all. Might not be accurate timeframe since its usually happening in idle state in the middle of the night. But I can tell POE 2 problems are not related to 24H2 windows update. I got that update before POE launch and issues started days after launch for me.
bump
Ok quick update,

full trial run + 4 story sections of act2 and 3 hours of game play with

https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher

PoE Uncrasher enabled as admin .. 0 crash issues. ! Pretty stocked, GGG owes the man a beer.
Close autoHDR in windows fix my problem with freeze crash.
