Hard crashing PC locks up

This is honestly starting to look like a cashgrab.

I mean, 30$ for early access to a game that will be F2P is obviously a cashgrab, but the fact that they can't solve this problem isn't really connected to that.

Can mods please lock this thread. People are incompetent and cant read. It is not a PoE issue, GGG cant do anything about it. Last time, it is Windows 11 24h2 issue. If youre not on 24h2, your PC is just instable for countless other reasons. Everything was said about how you can fix it. Please lock this thread.

I understand this is just bait but regardless, if this is not a PoE2 issue then GGG should come out and say that. The silence is a clear indicator that this is a more complicated issue.
For those who have altered various things or setup Process Lasso I would encourage you to also try setting it back to default at some point to test.

This morning I was crashing just trying to boot the game with Process Lasso turning off multithreading, and it was fine yesterday.

I removed any CPU restrictions I had in place and now the game seems fine with no changes to my system other than some security definition updates from Microsoft. It is possible they are making changes in the background and your changes are conflicting with their updates.

Just my 2 cents but after having issues the entire time since launch everything seems to work now after an hour and extensively porting between zones.

I'm getting real tired of my entire PC freezing up and having to do a hard reboot. Can we at least get an update or rough ETA? :(

This is not a Windows issue. The way it crashes, the workarounds that somewhat works, and the dxdiags imply that the issue is improper usage of system APIs by the PoE2.
Bump for this insane issue. Still having it. Not a Windows issue -- no other game has ever crashed my computer, on 24H2 or earlier.

If your system crashes, there is nothing you can do to stop it outside of limiting the CPU, and that only prevents a full system crash. Every single person going "i played for x hours and it seems fine" will enviably come back and say oops i guess not.

If the intent was to profit and bail on supporting the game, then they've succeeded beyond their wildest expectations. They knew this was an issue going into releasing EA.

Yes, EA is always a risk. But notice the language. Early "Access". Tons of players have limited or no "Access".

I doubt bailing is apart of it at all, but this specific issue is either out of their depth, or doesnt happen to enough people for them care.
and again!. it also affects people who have a windows 23h2 version or are even OS users.

people with windows 10 have this issue ! so thats not a WINDOWS problem.

24H2 is released since late october. dont forget that ! GGG must know
