I am not arguing with you, just clearing things out that fixing such serious issue is not something trivial. And from the user side we just can provide maximum as possible debug information so GGG and other companies could fix the shit.

Here I do totally agree.

Actually we do not have any deeper information about the root cause and maybe we have multiple issues and not a single one what can make this even more complex. This ist not "Oh, I did a dumb programming error here, so lets fix this three lines of code."

This patch hasn't fixed it yet. Please send more DxDiags to Timothy_GGG so we can all play fun game without being at risk of crashing

Having the same problem. Mostly during load screens when i enter new zones or click the button to open world map. Wouldn´t be so bad if it just crashes the game but my entire PC locks up so I have to do a hard reset by pressing power button. Got a brand new laptop to play this game so it's a fresh install. Playing on steam version.

Specs: Brand new Lenovo LOQ 15 with a ryzen 7 8845HS, RTX 4060, Windows 11 PRO, update 24H2(version 26100.2605), one stick of 16 gb DDR5 ram.
Monitor setup: Using laptops integrated monitor and an external monitor, both at 2560x1440

Game settings:
Running in Windowed fullscreen on my 2nd monitor.
Vsync: Adaptive
Window resoultion: 2560x1440
NVIDIA DLSS max image quality set to quality.
8x anisotropic filtering
Shadow+ globial immunation
Shadow+ gi quality: Low
Sun shadow quality: Low
Number of lights: High
Water detail level: High
Nvidia reflex: ON
Background FPS cap 30
Foreground FPS cap: 144
Triple buffering: on
Dynamic culling: off
Engine multithreading: ON

Have not tried any of the fixes proposed in this forum thread yet. Just wanted to give some info so GGG can fix this.

I mean, ppl keep saying 24h2 is the problem when clearly is not, or y r blind or stupid, even if was the problem

24h2 came in october 1th, game launched in december, so the QA process stopped for more than 2 months ? no one in the entire company had a updated windows 11 ? y r delusional to believe in that tbh hahahha

I had the crash problem after they released the first patch, was able to play for 8 hours day one, patch came and 6 days without playing, can't even have a refund cuz +2 hours, and ain't doing 9000 things in my windows and pc just for a broken feature that don't even fix it, pretty lame tbf, even when taked it 110+ pages to someone in the company ask a thing that ppl posted for 100 pages to do it again.

Ain't putting ggg in the bonfire, but a problem that big without solution for this long, i'm already losing interest to play even when they fix it sadly

The 24h2 update was optional so not everyone used it immediately. When PoE2 started insisting on using the newest graphics driver, its more likely that people didn't take a chance and applied all possible updates at once.

However as one of the people who experienced this hard crash from the beginning of EA launch, it has only happened for this game. I do play many other titles in between and have never seen something like this happen.

Agreed. I have never played an EA title that risks harming my PC. They have no idea what they’re doing. I didn’t sign up for this. I paid for normal EA. I demand a refund because I’m sure as hell they’re incapable of fixing this and I’m sure as hell they won’t be paying for any damage done to our expensive machines.

can confirm. new patch downloaded played for 1 hour froze 3 times. it's not fixed at all. in fact it's worse than before the patch.

Im on windows 10, r7 5800x with a 7800xt, got to play for about 20 hours with some crashes throughout. Then 2 days ago after the patch I can't play at all it hard crashes my pc. I had this pc for about 2 months with no issues with any other game. Now after the crashes with Poe2 it seems like it may have damaged the cpu, I'm now getting pc crashes with any game I play regardless of cpu% usage. Like rocket league at 25% cpu and 60c crashes pc. Be careful people this may be damaging hardware.
