But you do have a pc that can run the game :)

You do know that life fluctuates and changes, yes? Especially for people in an unstable economy? "Living from hand to mouth" is an expression, and a LOT of people live like that all over. That doesn't mean it's always been like that for them, and it doesn't mean it's always like that. Some months, more work, some month, no work.

Sometimes, I swear people are trying to judge everyone.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

I don't judge them either.

After 12 years of playing PoE 1; if I was unable to buy a key myself due to severe economic reasons, be that poverty, obscure prices due to regional pricing or whatever, I would probably make one of these threads myself.

I have given away 2 keys, but none of them on the forums. I would happily give away a key to a random guy that needs it (be that poverty, obscure regional pricing or whatever). The thing is, everyone can be whoever they want on the internet, and make up the saddest story. You just have no real way of knowing if he's just cheap, or is going to make a few quick bucks by selling it.

No one has a high-powered PC, internet, access to reliable 500 watts of power and comfort enough to not be able to afford a $30 game which is also actually going to be free anyway. The only reason is if you're a literal underaged kid who can't work and your parents provide all that stuff for you.

you do know poe2 can be ran on a 14 y/o machine and power is cheaper in countries with poor economy? and their internet is usually dirt cheap too.
i can see the point when someone is saying their country economy is affecting the affordability. that said many people on here have been playing this card while this is absolutely not the case.

And then again: THE GAME WILL BE FREE IN A FEW MONTHS

POE 2 can run on a potato pc a 250usd pc here is good enough to play poe since the pc parts here are regional priced also.

Since I am from SEA we are close to the Chinese manufacturers selling cheap computer parts. As for the internet its a 100mbps here is 17usd per month here.

Could someone help me understad who are these guys begging for keys instead of supporting the game creators? If you can't afford to spend 30 USD (but got a PC recent enough to play the game????), just watch a bloody streamer for god's sake, they are giving away hundreds of these. And if you are really broke, the game will be free, just be patient and keep playing poe1

If GGG didn't want people asking/giving away keys they wouldn't have included extra keys in the supporter packs. $30 can go a long way for some people and there are other ways to support the game other than purchasing supporter packs, such as playing it.

Eh, maybe. Or maybe they didn't consider what would happen to those keys. I have used my key for the 480 lifetime and I have 3 more still. I have no friends that want to play the game, so instead, they'll collect dust until the game launches FTP.

They did the same thing in Closed Beta, I'm sure they considered it.

Unfortunately, I've given away all of my keys to friends/family. Best of luck in finding one though!
