Cant enter portals!

I found the solution, you have to ask someone to open a map for you and kill the boss and you can finish the mission.

Still cannot enter portals with my character day 4.
BTW, poe 2 will not affect poe 1, just so that you guys are on the same page.

I am currently having the this same issue. Given that this is poe 1's endgame, you'd think they'd be working hard to fix it. Has GGG even acknowledged this issue?

Just bumping and posting detailed reproduction steps (i hope)

1. Create a fresh character in the Necro Settlers league without any progress in the league done yet
2. Finish all the acts
3. Enter Karui Shores and Accept the Quest "A call to Arms" and follow the steps of the quest until you have to enter a map inside Karui Shores
4. Open a map and enter a portal to the map you just opened

This will lead to an unexpected disconnect and will throw you to the login screen.

Just tried this, finished the quest but still having the same bug when starting a new map.

This worked for me, was stuck on a fresh start in Necro Settlers.
I asked someone in global to open a t1 map for me, went inside and killed the boss. After that i got the device in hideout and its working just fine.
