I don't understand the statement under early access -"Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." What good is having the client if I cannot play the game? At least that's what the statement implies.
I was able to use the key in Steam and I downloaded the game. It shows up in my library but is not playable. Instead it says "Planned Release Date: coming soon"
So what gives? Do I need to pay to play? I thought that all my past transactions qualified me for the key that I was given and that would let me play...but this doesn't appear to be the case.
The steam key is so you can download the path of exile 2 software in Steam. After you run PoE2 in steam, it will ask you to log in. Your account then needs a PoE2 early access key. To tell if you have that, go here: https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access
If your account is set up with Early access, it will say at the top "Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access".
Yes, i did and checked all this. Im starting the game, but when i am on the Log In screen and trying to log in i get the message that my account doo NOT have access. F'ed UP!!!
