POE 2 ✧ Lahkesis Queen of Chaos ✧ "Essence Drain " Guide v0.05 so close

I don't know about you guys but I'm not feeling the damage I'm currently lvl 53, I have a plus 2 wand, cause I'm using a scepter for minions and some defensive stuff. I can clear the are with out a problem but boss fights are the real problem here, they have too much HP and the fight gets too long.

How you guys doing on bosses?

How you guys doing on bosses?

I think I am running quite a different build than most here, but both add clear and bosses have been quite trivial for me.

Its quite funny reading through this thread with everyone talking about their struggles when I have went very defensive on my tree and am stacking ES and just letting Demonform carry 90% of my damage. I do take the powerful chaos nodes that are near where I am pathing anyway but I have breezed through the entire campaign as Infernalist.

Here is roughly my current build, its not entirely up to date but I made this for someone else to show them what I am doing

I have nearly 3k ES at this point and tbh probably going to drop Zealot's Oath entirely, its not needed. Grim Harvest + Flask with Eternal Youth has been more than adequate to sustain my ES needs. Because I am running Ghostwrithe my life pool is tiny so I can basically sustsain it with just a single source of flat life regen on armor.

Main thing to note is that running Inspiration on Despair setup is almost mandatory for QoL in my opinion.

It is crazy to me reading about everyone having issues with flask sustain, I often am finishing bosses feeling like I barely even needed my flasks at all. Demonform dash makes avoiding most boss mechanics trivial + my passive mana regen can easily sustain my normal rotation of just dots. The only time I use mana flask is after 2-3 casts of Despair.

Yea bossing has been quite easy for me aswell. Demon form is quite good, even without getting stats from wep&offhand and the survivability with the added movement is so good.

Ive also taken all the chaos nodes that are close, but went with eldrich battery and MOM. Still struggling with mana regen lol, but taking more of those nodes atm. ES stacking might defo be better.

i just changed my skills to have similar supports to you and chain and despair with inspiration is definitely a gamechanger. im not using hex blast yet but i can imagine itll be good in boss situations. Im not infernalist so ill give updates on how blood feels with this.

Theres a secret interaction not posted on the details between ED and Contagion. If you WD first, in a pack of monsters, then Contangion click the center of the pack, contagion will prio applied to the ED doted minion. I agree with your findings though, I'm testing using Bone Cage as a workaround.
Got the life leech node under blood mage and it feels ROUGH. I hope it’s bugged

don't bother, chaos spells are pathetic in poo 2
the base damage is awful, the scaling is atrocious, the higher the level i got the weaker i became, i shit you not, it's bad-bad.

Well taking MoM definitely is not helping you here. It gives 50% LESS mana recovery rate which hurts quite a bit IMO. That is a big loss to mana regen for, IMO, not much actual gain defensively.

I toyed with the idea of using MoM but tbh I just don't think we can scale mana pools/regen enough to really be worth it

At first I was pretty pumped about MoM being 100% of damage taken to mana before life, but I kinda think it might actually be net negative at least for how I usually do my builds.

maybe try hexblast. ED damage sucks as i see. Hexblast plays a lot better, the only issue is mana
