No Mac version POE 2, but already knew that months ago

I can confirm that Path of Exile 2 works with Crossover on mac OS 15.2 Sequoia, at least as far as the initial client launch and for tweaking options.

I installed it in the same bottle as my existing Path of Exile (1), which uses Windows 10 64-bit with D3DMetal and ESync. I have also applied CXPatcher to my Crossover.

I note that PoE2 takes up 93GB on disk, which is almost twice the size of PoE1 at 48GB. The additional overhead for the bottle is just 1GB.

The big initial download crashed once while trying to write a file (something many other Windows users experienced repeatedly last night), but after restarting the download it was able to complete with no errors. It takes a couple of hours at around 10MB/sec, so you should monitor it in case you have to restart.

Launching the game triggered another small update, then it crashed. Fear not! The solution (also required for PoE1), is a small edit to poe2_production_Config.ini in "~/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2". Open that file with a text editor, then find and replace “Vulcan” with “DirectX12”. Save the file and launch.

You should see the login screen, but (pre-launch) you'll get an error when you attempt to login. The options screen works, so you can tweak your display and UI settings.
Lol, Mac gamers! hahaha rip nerd :P
