Warning for people close to $480 in purchases

I was only $10 short of the limit, so I bought a $20 supporter pack, thinking this would get me settled. What they didn't tell us (or at least mention anywhere I heard) is:

"
I'm afraid that any purchases made after the newly released Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Packs were added to our store do not count towards the lifetime threshold in this case.

I'm afraid if you want to participate in the early access you will need to purchase a Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Pack.

EDIT: Above is support's response.

Not terribly happy about this, since early access is costing me $50 instead of $30 because of poor communication (did I miss where it says there's a cutoff? Most people thought you could hit the limit until EA started, or perhaps afterwards).

"$480 lifetime spent" means exactly what it says. Though, in fairness to you, one could interpret this as meaning the timeline before the game goes live. In fact, they seemingly haven't specified this, at all. They also don't mention a timeline in their FAQ. I think in this case you would be entitled to a refund. Unless you are not from the EU, then perhaps tough luck.

Edit: And even if they add it in now, you would still be entitled to a refund because at the time of purchase this info wasn't provided and thus could be deemed illegitimate.

yeah that should be in the FAQ
❌Ask support if the trick will work before spending money
✅Spend money, see it didn't work, go whine on a forum
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.
I think it's a miscommunication and that info should be in FAQ.... If you are not happy I would ask for a refund< I don't think it would be a big deal...
1:) I'm absolutely certain that support is swamped right now.

2:) You bought points and got the full value of your money in points.

3:) You can contact support if you make an erroneous purchase or have questions about your purchase.
IGN : Reamus
Matter of the fact is that it says "lifetime purchases" and not "lifetime purchases up until the point of release of the supporter packs".

IF this was the intention from the start then it should have been mentioned in the FAQ at the very least.

I think it would be justified to feel upset in this situation.

Yeah. Their communication was really poor, here. I'm not happy about this, but whatever. I just figured it was good to warn anyone in a similar situation.

They should just have been more clear about this
This has also been asked about many times in the forums
They could have responded to one of those threads and made it clear

Yeah man.
And for what it's worth, I don't think you were whiny at all
Thanks for informing everyone
