Ability to use Controller and Mouse/Keyboard at the same time

Would be nice to have the ability to use both control methods at the same time in PoE and PoE2.

Since I prefer to move with play with the controller and manage inventory with the mouse and keyboard.

If this is not possible, maybe at least add a hotkey to toggle input method?

This would be neat. I like controller movement in similar games but I hate controller aiming with an undying fury.

I use a Cyborg 2 controller instead of a keyboard in my left hand, along with a mouse in my right. One of the main features of the Cyborg 2 is its thumbstick, which can be used for movement. If PoE 2 allowed for using a controller thumbstick alongside a mouse or keyboard simultaneously, it would greatly enhance my control over character movement.

That said, the Cyborg 2's thumbstick can also emulate "WASD" inputs, so it would still function. However, allowing the thumbstick to act as a true controller thumbstick would provide more precise and fluid movement, which would be a significant improvement for players using hybrid setups like mine.

What's it like using the Azeron?

I want to get one, mainly for the analog stick, but I'm discouraged by the price. Add the fact that PoE will lock me out of using mouse if I plug it in as it doesn't allow dual input.

I want to use a hybrid setup with an analog stick and mouse. That would be ideal I think. But I'd also be happy with being able to use a controller, then swapping to mouse and keyboard for inventory management as in town stuff with a controller is complete balls.

When I saw "autodetect input method" I was like, "hell ya, just auto-switch it for me whenever I want"... unfortunately you need to logout to the character selection screen to switch.

Also would be great for playing local coop, allowing one person to use the keyboard and the other using the controller

Yeah hybrid Control + Mouse would be great.

But have it so you can use LB/LT work like CTRL modifiers for all mouse buttons: Left, Right, Middle, Mouse 4 & 5.

This would allow access to all the skills, gives about 15 buttons on most gaming mice. Then if dodge could bound as a skill not a key bind it would also be great.

I got an MMO mouse, so I can pretty much play the game without even using my left hand if I want to. But I agree, if you could bind the game however you want, so joystick buttons could be modifiers and stuff, that would be the best. Just let us play the game however we want. Locking controller play behind it's own UI load ain't it.

Same. I have ulnar nerve impingement so my days of being very good at mouse and keyboard are over. I prefer to use a controller and then mouse for inventory/trading/etc.

I know this is probably down the list of items but would help out a lot of folks.
