How is there still no confirmation on regional pricing?

" I guess GGG just does not care about its players. It's owned by tencent and sells $100 skins after all. |
They wont say anything, classic GGG move, sadly this is no new from GGG, some important topics come out and they would go radio silent and just wait until people forget about it, and then people claim GGG is a super transparent company...
There's a reason Bex couldn't continue working for GGG, she was getting a lot of hate bc situations like this would happen and people would turn into her as she was the face GGG had to "comunicate" with its community, but that's a hard job when the company itself goes silent, there's no community manager that can fix that. |
GGG does not have to explain regional pricing to anyone. They are under no obligation make their "early access" game cheaper for some then others if they do not want to. They do not owe any explanation on their thinking.
They have already said the game will be F2P when it releases. Do not let your FOMO dictate anger to a company, which at the end of the day is here to make $$$$. They will probably make more money not having regional pricing then having it because of FOMO. |

Because it was abuse-able and steam allows you to have regional pricing but with cross-play coming in PoE2 that doesn't mean Sony and Microsoft will allow it.
You can't have people paying $500 on Sony and only $250 on PC. If you want cross-play you need to accept the fact that pricing across the platforms has to be identical and Sony is against Regional Pricing. |
" Then why there are some regions on steam that still have regional pricing? Even here in the official web site there's regional pricing, people are just asking for an official stament, is cofusing why a few regions have reduce price and others not. Why are you getting so mad customers are asking for clarification on a big company? |
" Because they do not owe anyone any comment on pricing. The price is what the price is. Even if that price changes everyday. When a game goes on sale for cheaper people do not get mad and go to the forums and ask why is the game cheaper today then it was yesterday. For those who got it cheaper great, for those who didn't so sad. For those who still get it cheaper that is awesome for them. If tomorrow they triple all the prices across all platforms because they already got sooooooo many people who purchased the EA that is their decision and it is what it is. |
" None of this is true because some countries still have regional pricing, such as Brazil and Russia. And no it is not as abuseable as you would think. |
" He asked you: "Why are you getting so mad customers are asking for clarification on a big company?" and your response is "because they do not owe anyone any comment?" You sound like a troll but are you trying to argue with yourself? Some countries have regional pricing, others had it until a week ago, and players rightfully expect some clarification over why. That's what these forums are for. Maybe after spending hundreds of dollars supporting a company with terrible communication you've come accustomed to silence but some of us expect more and part with our money less frivolously. |

"It's very abusable. I saw guides being posted on Reddit telling people how to change their region to access cheaper pricing, even if they do not live in that region. Shortly after I saw those guides on Reddit, the regional pricing was changed. GGG have to choose their words carefully, which is why I doubt support would comment on this until an official statement is released. They release their official statements providing clarification for issues such as this here https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/news |
