maybe try a ubisoft/bethesda/blizzard game, so you can actually appreciate supreme quality

If you're a new player, like i am - paying $30, $60 for this game already returned it's value back tenfold, regardless whatever fancy MTX points im getting on top of it.

It is not predatory in any sense, options is always there, and its not shoved onto your face unlike alot of other game.

Hell i have to buy Diablo4 fullgame TWICE, because my original purchase on ps5 which is linked to my steam account, does not transfer onto PC - and when spiritborn launch i wanted to play on PC instead of PS5, i have to buy the base d4 game AGAIN on steam, just to access back my same OLD pre-existing account. Now - that is a full on scumbag moment.

This is immensely dishonest, they've said it'll be free after full launch, if you want early access they'll charge it AND you'll likely play a worse version of the game, so you should know well ahead of time that door fee is just for players to give them money and NO other reason.

Calling them out for doing just about the best thing they can do for their player base (give a window and soft perks for letting those who want and can keep the server running to do that AND keep a free game running for those who cannot or will not) is a real scummy thing to do.

If you think it's dishonest, don't pay, it's an alpha, you're paying them to do work in the first place, it's already a 'bad' proposition for a player. If you like the game, and want the game to keep being there, pay for it if you can.

Wow, this is coming from someone who has badges showing they have supported this game for a while now. And you have the nerve to say that? POE1 was the same way. How do you think they keep making content for the game? Also, you DON'T have to pay for anything. Just wait until the full release and it will be free. They are not forcing you to spend money.

Of that million 800k have already spent over 480$ so they just get access. Realistically nothing is truly free.

If you can't cobble together $30 to support a game in development, then you are free to stick with PoE 1 which is still free to play.
$30 is nothing. You can flip burgers at McDonald's for like 2 hours tops and make that much. If that's out of reach you can start a YouTube channel complaining about how much you hate the fact that the game costs $30. If enough people agree with you, you earn ad revenue. Start now and you might have a chance.
