Path of Building for PoE2

"
Counterpoint a great designed game doesn't need PoB to play.

uhh, how can I tell if the bow I want to buy is better than mine?

I thought one I crafted was better (it had more PDPS) but I was wrong. I don't want to buy a bow for 17ex and find out it's worse than my current bow.

IF you need pob for poe 2 then you have an iq lower than 1.

I hate this game but I can admit that builds are easier to make than poe 1

use your brain?

did it have higher attack speed? did it have ele damage on it making it look like it was better? does it have more crit chance or damage? does it have multiple projectiles?

The bow I wanted to use had +1 proj, more PDPS, same attack per second. And it was worse than my other bow because it had more damage and I think a .% in crit.

So, sure, I guess I could calculate all of this manually, but why would I have to do so much math? Can't trade compare the item to my current item? Can I see the item on trade in game to compare? No! They expect me to write down all the formulas and do the math?

DPS: ((pmin + pmax + fmin + fmax + cmin + cmax + lmin + lmax) / 2) / aps

And this formula is missing: extra projs, skill levels, etc

No, I'll not calculate this manually, I'll use PoB for the lack of in-game features.

I never thought about that till now. Without POB2 I guess POE2 will be born dead! ^^

nope in PoE 2 you arent punished for trying out different builds you can easy swap between the skills and they are globally leveled so no need to worry to level your gems for new skills you wanna try you also can respec very easy and cheap and you can very eays swap between the support gems i have never made a build in PoE but i will make my own builds in PoE 2

This didn't age well...

Bro, you probably the type of guy who barely goes through the tutorial with that mighty brainpower of yours.

Let us, who want to make proper builds and optimize the sh*t out of sth do the work. Calculating values for every mod on item etc. is close to impossible by hand, thus some of us would love to have some software to work with. To compare nodes, items to buy etc.

In the meantime there are crayons for you in the corner.
M-M-M-Multiple kill killll killllllll
Unfortunately people are already training neural net AIs on the passive trees whilst training it on all the rules and concepts of PoE. People will just build chars after asking how to maximize potential foe a concelt. Cant be stopped.
Sure hope it happens.
Hate spending 10s of hours building wrong.
i enjoy creating builds as much as i enjoy playing them, so tbh im more excited for Pob2 than poe2...
