I have a few questions regarding Couch Co-op gameplay, and despite searching for answers, I have not been able to find sufficient information. I will be playing on a PS5:

Is it necessary to purchase two separate copies of the game in order to play with another person in Couch Co-op mode?

If not, how does the system function? For example, if I purchase an additional stash tab, will the other player also receive access to the extra stash?

Are the characters created in Couch Co-op mode independent of each other, or are they linked in any way?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Azeon.

No, one copy will suffice.

When the other person connects the controller they will get the option to log in using their own account (I'm not 100% if their account needs to have access to Early Access, this is a valid question and can go either way), or if they want to sign on as a guest.

As for microtransactions (such as stashtabs) and guest accounts, again, not 100% sure on this, but either they will have the same microtransactions that your main account has, or they will be like a blank new account.

If the couch co-op partner is logged in using their own character then the characters are fully independent. If the co-op partner uses a guest account, the character will probably be listed under your account (meaning that if you create a monk and they create a sorceress, when you log in solo you have two characters already: A monk and a sorceress).

Here's my best guess as to what I think GGG has done in terms of MTX for guests and whether or not accounts need to have access to the early access to be able to be used in couch co-op:

1. I think any guest account probably has access to your account's MTX.
2. I think that as long as one of the players (or the main account) has access to the Early Access, then any other account will be able to join it without purchasing a key for EA.

Again; These are just my suspicions, I am not a GGG dev, I don't have insights, this is just what makes sense to me.

Will there be some kind of sandbox mode to generate and test builds?
Because as a player who cannot spend full days playing the game hence not having time to just spend it on something you will not like in the end what was a big disappointment in poe1 for me. So I hope that in poe2 there will be a new way to test build before you understand that will you like it or not before spending time leveling it. This is mostly decisive factor for me will I buy early access or not.

There will not be. At least not within the game itself. But you can now respec with gold. So if you do level a build and you decide half way through "this isn't for me", then you can visit the respec guy and use gold to respec your tree and switch into something else.

Im curious/unsure what happens, as i bought a supporter pack but also hit the lifetime threshold, would i still get an extra key? or should i contact support?

Please don't contact support, they are already swamped as is. You're not alone, there's a bunch of us awaiting an answer to this question, including myself. They will probably update the FAQ...soonTM.

The running theory here is that as soon as they start sending out invites to lifetime spenders, they will send out actual keys. But buying the supporter pack already granted your account direct access without needing to input a key. So you wouldn't be needing the key they send out for you being a lifetime spender. Again though, this is the running theory, we are still awaiting clarification if we understood that right.
How do i see account transactions in a dollar figure ?

I think you forgot that classes exist. And time already spent on something you don't like in the end as well.
That's the whole reason I'm asking about sandbox.

same.
Is it normal that prices for the early access supporter packs are different (in euros) between epic games, steam and the path of exile website ?
