PS5 Freezing every minute everywhere

Came back after a hot minute to play on PS5 and hit the issue everyone here is complaining about. Came on to be a good citizen and report a bug, only to see this has been going on got a month with no real feedback from GGG. Deleted the client for both PS4 and PS5...seeing myself out I know when I'm not wanted. Games are supposed to be recreation if I wanted to be irritated by sloppy code I can review some pull requests at work thank you very much.

Careful now, while the team may not have much interest in fixing issues for the console users, as you know they do lurk to "admin" these threads. At this rate that is the only interaction we receive in these forums.

I am well aware of the code of conduct in these forums.

I will continue to argue that this is not NEEDLESS or NEGATIVE because it is fact and proven at this point. Nor is this hateful or even a personal attack with any ill intention.

GGG, I challenge you to also follow your own code of conduct:

Antagonize in an obnoxious manner: through inaction, nonresponse, and censoring anyone who voices concern about the aforementioned

Disrupt Forum or Chat use for others Deleting posts calling for action. What are these forums here for if there is no engagement, acknowledgement, and worst of all no follow through for months after an issue has been identified?

Impersonating GGG Staff It's easy to see the title on your name in these threads, the account messages, or the emails - however the continued mishandling of events make me wonder if any of you actually work at GGG or if the community interactions (if not more) have been outsourced to a 3rd party company.

I should have looked at the forum first. Got excited and chose a build guide, put some caffeine in me (event started at 10pm for me) which I usually don't do because I often get migraines the day after and then I can't even play. -_-

Game is unplayable right now on PS5. I brute forced my way through the first 3 acts with multiple deaths and boots due to freezing / crashing. Tried labyrinth and that isn't even doable with brute force because every time you go back you can maybe get past your first Izaro encounter before crashing and sending you back to the begging again only to try 4 more times and have the same things happen.
I dont get whats the fuss about, GGG clearly wrote 40 days ago that they were looking at it.

I bet they are still looking at it while you are reading this.

I can assure you that developers take looking part very serious and they wont stop until there is nothing to look at.

I had to delete and download yet again due to the fog of war issue and now I crash continuously. It’s currently unplayable.

Current patch 3.25.1c is unplayable on PS5. Game is freezing after entering map.
Not sure if anyone has posted results to this, but on PS5, this issue will crop up, seeminngly out of no where at some point. You will start to freeze/hard lock in maps within 90s of engaging.... wait.... hoping the game recovers, to eventually either have to power cycle the console, or sometimes you get dropped to the login screen.

Whenever this occurs, my steps to get back to working state are as follows:

# power down console
# get beverage
# usb cable a controller directly to the console
# hold down the power button on the console to enter safe mode (can let go after 2nd beep)
# select Repair Console Storage ... let it run
# reboot into safemode
# select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database (run both options)
# boot normally
# launch POE


This usually sorts out any issues and allows the game to work normally for an amount of time. I've gone less than 1 hr, up to nearly 3 weeks, before needing to run the above steps again.

This has ONLY been happening with the PS5 native client during both vanilla and Necro Settlers leagues.

PS4 client has been working through out, but suffers badly from lag, missing textures, slow loading screens, etc... and the time lost to the above steps very much feels like a net gain with how bad the Ps4 client is.

Anyhow.. hope this helps.

PS - to clear custom filters/fog of war bug, I simply close POE, launch and load a BG3 save, then relaunch POE, reselect my custom filter and carry on.
The game is currently unplayable on the PS5 console ggg please take care of the problem the game freezes every 10 minutes
Experiencing the same issue. Has GGG confirmed the latest path as more bugs or something? or the PS console servers are not working at optimal?
