closed beta and early access are 2 different things
your friend likely got into closed beta. i actually signed up for closed beta but i m glad i didnt get in as i m enjoying settlers too much to want to delve into CB. i would also point out CB are purely for testing and would have data wipes. it is not what i want. what you want is EA/Open beta. usually EA/Open beta allows you to keep your gear and characters via standard league. if you're being salty for not being invited to CB, let me put it to you this way. CB is for testing purposes. you're being GGG's unpaid free game tester. for sure you may gain access to POE2 waaaaaaay earlier. but without any meaningful progression. its like paying for a strip club and instead of getting to watch strippers you're given a seat at a pc and watch a stripper perform on screen. its not substantial. (disclaimer: i have never been to strip club lol) [Removed by Support]

I received the beta test recruitment survey email, but didn't get a beta key.
While the recruitment email said very few would be picked for the beta test, I'll always wonder if me not receiving a key had anything to do the with the idiots that made their recruitment survey emails public, which in turn subsequently overwhelmed the survey site, blocking access, and getting the survey shut down before I could complete the survey. Will never know. At this point, just hoping my lifetime purchases get me an early access key. Although, with GGG selling early access keys, early access will be overwhelmed with players. Would be nice if purchased early access keys didn't work until like Nov. 22, giving qualifying supporters a week of real early access without having to deal with overloaded servers. But I suppose if I don't meet the threshold for a free key, this suggestion might be terrible. LOL. |

" Will never happen. If they are selling the EA/OB....then NO ONE is getting in for free. Past purchases are meaningless, as well they should be. I don't even think the closed beta folks would get free transition into the EA. Last edited by mefistozxz#6750 on Oct 2, 2024, 2:01:43 PM

" If you were invited into the closed beta you are already in Early Access. If you meet the currently undisclosed $$$ amount for lifetime support, you will be in Early Access. Otherwise, if you want in Early Access, you will need to purchase the supporter pack that grants Early Access. |

^I see the GGG comment about the lifetime spending....my mistake.
