In the purchase it clearly stated that I would be part of the GGG board, would receive beta keys and Chris himself would personally pat me on the back for giving him money.

As I explained purchasing MTX is a direct transaction. You spend money, you get a product in return. There is nothing beyond that.

Believing you inherently deserve a privilege or special treatment over another is the very definition of entitlement as has been pointed out by numerous other posters and it is the point.

They're allowed to be frustrated they couldn't play with their friend, of course buying mtx doesn't grant you privilege in a lottery and anyone can see that would become the focus of the threads discussion under normal circumstances in this forum as of late.

Irony has to be my absolute favorite thing.

Anywho i mostly came in here to drop the (just spam accounts) information as GGG doesn't seem to do anything to discourage that yet in many contexts.

Not for me but to the rest of you good luck with getting into the test phases.

Just for reference, 19x packs, 3 years of core packs, 8 leagues buying both packs.

I'm not mad, I pay to support poe1.
Whilst I would greatly appreciate a poe2 beta key, I do not expect it.
I am not going to write a forum post demanding it, it would be cool but i'm not going to let it upset me.

Grats to your friend and all those who got keys, do us a service and provide great feedback!

makes sense to not invite all those grumpy and experienced exiles to get a fresher view on the mechanics.
they probably don't wanna know how good/bad poe2 is in comparison to the predecessor.
i also didn't get in, not sad about it. poe is still alot of fun.

Beta and Early access means nothing today.
They select randomly or based on popularity and not actual qualification.

That or it's just a straight up gimmick. I worked as a beta tester for Tiberon Entertainment for 2 years. Ran my own webside called rpg-haven.com (you can look it up on wayback machine) next to MMOHut. I mod and code games using lua and C++.

I have real game testing experience not just money. I used to get press pass close beta access to games. Now I don't, because it's not actually about testing anything.

You think you should get access cuz you spent money? I used to get paid to do it.
