Thanks for the proposition, I'll consider it when/if I try a strike build again.

You may not know how to make a strike skill build. Thats fine if thats the case for you.

That's the case for everyone when they first try strike skills.
This is why clunky behaviour like this should be at least pushed on to "late-early-game" gems — I guess those you get as quest rewards from killing Gravicius / Voll ?

Weirdly, you don't seem to have mentioned things that in my (pre-3.25) experience seem to make strikes less clunky,
like increasing attack & move speed, extra strikes auto-targeting nearby enemies with a proxy (so good vs bosses !), adding splash damage...
(or force-using them "out of range" with Shift, like for Lightning Strike relying on the secondary projectiles),
but only mentioned what makes the builds stronger ?

(Arguably, this might be a different kind of clunky that OP had in mind, but I feel this was still worth mentioning ?)

Where are you getting this data by the way about strike skills terrible for everyone? Just trust me bro?

Because discussing things that arent in the ... current game aren't relevant.

You want me to discuss how melee USED to be and then say its bad NOW?

Thats not how that works

Again, I suggest actually building something this ... century as in 3.25, we cant go back in time, and then forming an opinion or conclusion based on that.

Your only experience as you admitted so far is glacial hammer against hillock in the guantlet. Thats not something that shows much effort or experience at all.

Unless you are repeating what someone else said, rather than learning, testing, and engaging with things for yourself.

That would be parroting. Which is not helpful to you.

Hope this helps!

Because 90% of melee skills have a less-than-100% attack speed multipliers.
Fine, I'll shut up until I have more experience.

Still, even Twilight Strand experience matters (some new players are going to quit just because of this, especially in a free game).
