Looks like there are (were?) 3641 different Valdo maps (before this patch ?) already, so while adding 586 more (?) decreases the chances of hitting a specific one somewhat, it's not "much smaller", nor would it turn a non-negligible chance into negligible ? There's a rumor that this text is wrong : what the patch instead fixes is that there are specific uniques in SoK leagues that can only (?) be acquired by completing Favoured Resource shipping 'quests', and they wouldn't be given out at all as rewards before this patch in Ruthless.
