From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?
Way to completely miss the point, buddy. I even put in the effort to give you prime examples and then went into even further detail as to why. But hey, if the only effort you are willing to put in is "I'm not reading all that btw", then I'm looking forward to your detailed Steam review.

" So what....you chose a few bad apples that left an impression. What about the (vastly more) successful sequels that you completely ignore. All you do is look for the worst possible scenario. And then, with live service games like most modern games, you then also need to factor in all the patches as pseudo-expansion games. Look at how much actually improved in D4 since its release. It's not my cup of tea, but its practically an entirely different game from a year ago. Look at PoE....5 years ago the game would be practically unrecognizable from what people are playing today. 5 years before that, even more so. If there ARE serious issues in November....they can be much more easily remedied and likely WILL be remedied in ways that are impossible in PoE 1. Is it really so hard to understand that some people might look forward to a potentially positive outcome, while you wallow in misery on the possibility of another D3? No one missed your point......your point is just morbid doom-saying for no real reason. Plus, your "point" is exactly the same as the other guys...except on the opposite side. Your comments and "examples" are all moot because, even as you yourself said, the game isn't even out yet and we truly have no idea what its going to actually be. And yet you still feel right to call other people out on having a different opinion and demand proof of their side? Despite it likely not staying the same, it is at least far more reasonable to have an opinion based on what we have seen shown about PoE 2, than any facetious arguments using OTHER games and OTHER releases. They have little to no bearing on what might happen with PoE 2. Last edited by mefistozxz on Sep 28, 2024, 6:55:37 PM

I feel like the void is slowly devouring our universe. Mankind is slowly becoming dumber because of social media.

" That's not even news. This has been proven in studies several years ago. Win 11, RTX 4080, i7-13700K, 32GB DDR5-6000, 7000 MB/s SSD, 4k Ultra

" I love how people refer to studies when in reality, they are referring to their interpretation. If a study in its conclusion "proves" something, everyone should avoid its authors. On Probation Any%

" Laymen outside of the scientific field may use the word "proves" when really they should say "this study supports the theory that..." but you shouldn't dismiss those studies because someone phrased it in a way you don't approve of The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" I didn't feel the need to point out that this means "a change in observed behavior" that has been documented, among other studied cases of psychological effects, its vast influence on our lives, spreading of misinformation, ruining people's private lives and whatnot. There's one case in particular that springs to mind every time someone brings up social media, and that's the case of the falsely accused bomber whose life was ruined thanks to general public media outlets. His name was Richard Jewell. Modern social media isn't any different, except that its vastly more toxic and easier to manipulate the masses with. But yeah... just my "own personal interpretation" of facts. Win 11, RTX 4080, i7-13700K, 32GB DDR5-6000, 7000 MB/s SSD, 4k Ultra

" Why are you reducing what I said to CTRL+F 'proves' CTRL+W? On Probation Any% Last edited by Dxt44 on Sep 29, 2024, 8:11:50 AM

" Your post has 2 sentences which part did I reduce? You were being dismissive and that's what I chose to comment on, simple as. You're also ignoring Baumi's response. :) The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
