GGG Surprised Picachu face
What abuse are we talking about, Silver. Be specific.

" It doesn't imrpove the game. It's just the best (least worse) answer to an impossible question. The best answer/solution would of course be for GGG to stop introducing new exploits, which we've had too many of lately. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Auctioneer House - is a MUST!

" It's not the best answer - it is cheap and lazy answer With this all bot users, nolifers and members of specific cheat societies are in advantage, while regular players - in disadvantage. Auctioneer House - is a MUST!

" I guess? Not sure "sad" is the word... seems a bit judgy. After playing with MB for multiple leagues I discovered I really disliked pushing flasks. I guess I just don't like a ton of buttons, and maybe the button placement and number kind of sucks too. Thing is I'd be OK with gameplay being optimized for like 4-5 buttons total w/ varying cooldowns, like a MOBA. I'm not arguing for simplicity, just a reduction in chores and a focus on the ideal UI for reactive and proactive gameplay. Seems like they are headed in that direction for PoE 2 at least. Hades really nailed their game controls btw if you haven't tried it yet. Hitting flasks just kind of sucks. GGG knows this which is why we have instilling orbs and mageblood. I don't love GGGs approach to rewarding investment with smoother gameplay. Gameplay should *always* be smooth. Investment should be rewarded with player power. PoE flasks just kinda evolved into what they are IMO. I don't think the design of them has been deliberate enough, or perhaps there are warring opinions on the matter at GGG. Regardless, they could be a lot better, and Mageblood basically solves that for me. It also solves some other annoyances like speed and resistances, but those I see as player power since they free up affixes. Last edited by rapind on Aug 21, 2024, 1:38:30 PM

" Put away that pushing buttons bro! the MB gives SO much QOL and power - it can't be justy ignored Lets say it allows you to buy much cheaper gear, which has proper stats for you, but has low resists - just use Bismuth flask with More effect mod + enkindling enchand and this flask alone would give ya aroun +60% of all res! Add here another utility flask with +20% elem resists, which would be converted to another +35% above that! And how about any utility flask with bleeding and corrupt immunes? etc etc etc It's not about just pushing buttons, not at all Auctioneer House - is a MUST! " I'd be just as happy if they removed flasks. The way they are currently designed sucks. Instead they seem to be doubling down on it with tinctures... sigh. " I don't agree with the design that QOL requires investment. I think QOL should just be native to all levels of gameplay. Power for sure should require investment though. The only time you actually have to press flasks anymore is during a boss fight and the campaign.
A stray corrupted blood flasks 3 times in a map is about the level of "extra" buttons you will ever have to use. Mash the clean
