GGG tell me PoE2 will be another, no life players only?
" That's totally false, my current build and you can see it from my profile it is ICBruja, level 86, all my res are 75%+ (they are like 100%) my life is at 3400, my armor I think is the part low is like 4000 something like that but I use some flask to get more, so with that character can I beat t16 maps lol no, I can barely make yellow maps and I am lucky if it does not appear a monster that one shot me and kill me. In conclusion you are totally wrong and I telling you from experience. I see many people defend that making the game "difficult" is part like for a good game, but it is actually de opposite, make a game that is only for a specific audience like the "no life" gamers is easier that make a game that appeals to everyone, that's actually difficult. Let me give you one example. I bought BG3 last year on release date, I finished the game until December I put like 120 hrs on it and it was a blast for me, epic game I enjoyed a lot. So you see there a youtube channel Mortismal Gaming this dude did a lot of runs a lot of characters, now I make a question do you think he enjoyed the game more than me? of course not I think we both enjoyed the game at our own peace, we both had a lot of fun, and this is what happen to me while playing Diablo 4 or Last Epoch. Now do I enjoy playing PoE yes and no, yes while I am doing the campaign and no when I reach maps is where the hell starts, is really frustating trying to get something to not die by one shot, to try to make more maps to upgrade my build is very difficult is very frustating, now the question, do I enjoy the game as someone that can build a character that can beat the game, can farm easily can do all the content the game has to offer? of course not I do not enjoy the game as they do, on the contrary I suffer and then I leave the league. As I said GGG can still make PoE2 to its niche of no life players I really do not care but, it is a game that I am surely not going to put a dime on it, simply because is not worth I dont like to see my bad ass looking character dying every single map 6 times, by one shot, or because something random just happened. |

" PoE is long past the point where 3k life and capped elemental resistances are enough to survive the endgame. The game has plenty of defensive tools and you need to use at least some of them to not die like a fly. To name a few: - Spell Suppression - usually not extremely hard to cap or at least have a high percentage. - Armor/Evasion or both, with their respective auras (Determination/Grace), flasks and gear. - Capped or at least good chaos resistance - Avoid ailments - Leech/Regen - Physical damage taken as some element - Cast When Damage Taken + Immortal Call/Molten Shell setup - Block https://maxroll.gg/poe/resources/defenses-and-defensive-layering | |
" Just having the reduced effect of shock during flask effect suffix on an automated flask goes a long way in maps on top of the chilled immun boots craft from syndicate and the pantheon for freeze immun...Also hit that lucky suppress mastery. It makes a huge difference early, especially if you just have some low amount of suppress... If you are near the marauder, there are some extra max res nodes on the tree now. You get easy +2 max res extra. Lesser ember is also dirt cheap. Craft another +1 max res on your body armour with it... By now the new bases are also cheap and affordable, giving muchas more of your defensive stats and try to get some gear pieces with the new t2-t1 life rolls on it. Don't use to many weird uniques... Also builds with a good amount of recovery seem to play sooo much better. A lot of players just get carried by leech. Otherwise life regen might be important for you, too.
